Everytime I come to Brisbane I cannot miss coming to Saigon Alley Cafe. There is something special about simple food done to perfection and the food here encompasses that. The breakfast Bahn Mi is the perfect mix of flavors and the bread is heavenly crunchy yet so soft. Everyday is chicken pho except for Thursdays which is beef. The manager is always friendly and I give respect to someone who makes an effort to speak to you using your name, makes you feel special and appreciated. I cannot recommend this place any further Edit: came for lunch Pho special, I cannot put in words how amazing it was. Photo attached

Sought this place out as the best rated Bahn mi in Brisbane on our recent trip. From our lunchtime visit of a Friday, it’s also a fave spot for local office workers! We had the chicken and beef Bahn mis, and were super impressed by the friendly service and lovely fresh, crusty bread (warmed after being filled, but somehow the salad remains cool and fresh!) Nice work Saigon Alley! Will visit again on our next trip to Bris-Vegas :)

Great banh mi, just tried the breakfast version and it had the most perfectly fried eggs in it (just the right amount of runny to eat on the go), changed my life forever. Move over bacon and egg rolls BC this shit is insanely good. Started a new job nearby and this place is definitely my new breakfast spot

Great little eatery on Adelaide Street. Had the lemon grass chicken vermicelli salad which I enjoyed a lot. Really fresh and a good sized portion. Chicken was tender and flavoursome. I did feel there needed to be more cucumber and definitely more mint however. Also, the vermicelli noodles seemed to be broken up. Made the chopstick mission very difficult. I will definitely be back though as it was good and I look forward to trying...

Conveniently located near offices in the CBD. This is a small family-run takeaway venue with vietnamese food options such as bahn mi, spring rolls and chicken pho ($15.90). Fresh chillies, sriracha, hoisin and mint leaves available as condiments for your pho. Personally, one of the better pho options in Brisbane CBD. Though the broth is on the sweeter side. There is almost always a queue but service is quick and wait...
