Malee Made in Thailand Restaurant — Restaurant in Brisbane City

Was excited to go here with my co-workers, I love Thai food, buttt this experience wasn’t good. A gentleman greeted us, he was nice and connected us to the hostess, she sat us down outside (we wanted to sit here). After looking at the menue for a min , we still didn’t decide what we wanted, so we asked her to give us one minute, about 15 minutes go by, she hasn’t came back to check on us, or ask if we was ready. I had to get up and let the gentleman know that we are ready and he sent her to our table to take out order. 2 of us orders the massaman beef curry, the other orderd pad Thai and we also ordered chicken wings, crab spring rolls and I believe it was coconut shrimp. The food looked delicious but with our beef massaman, the beef was dry and and hard to swallow, it was a big disappointment, the crab spring rolls was pretty much crab in bread rolled up, the chicken wings were very disappointing All the wings were as small as your pinky with almost no meat on them! My friend stated the pad Thai was not good and she had better, she didn’t even want to take the leftovers home. Our experience here was not good, hope this review will help them make some changes to the service...

We had the all you can eat bbq. I thought we were in a Thai restaurant. There was nothing Thai about what we had. Just marinated meat and a few veggies. Not bad value and quite tasty. Fresh seafood also available. More like an Asian/Korean without the Korean sides.

We sat outside on a windy night so it took a while for the food to cook.

The staff were helpful when we asked for a screen to put around the burner so we could get the hot plate to cook.

It would have been nice if they were aware of that before we asked.

Only 1.5 hours to eat which was enough time for us. It would have been nicer on a balmy night. It felt like they just wanted to get people in to eat and out again. Not much hospitality.

Tried their Thai Bbq buffet for $39/PP. The lady who assisted us set the table and asked if it is our first there, then I responded saying yes and left. We kept chatting with my friends because I’m assuming that she’ll come back and explain us where to get the food etc.. unfortunately, she didn’t comeback, after 5 mins I went to the counter which I saw her chatting with her colleagues and didn’t bother to assist me at all so i just figure it out myself the other lady was able to tell me the sauces. Anyway, food was alright, the soup tasted bland we just put fish sauce to make it a little bit salty. I hope the staff will pay more attention to the customer. Will come back to try the other food but definitely...
