I was Savile Row as I was recommended by a local. They definitely have a great selection of whisky and gin.
Met some nice people and even provided the staff with a $30 tip. This was after spending $250 in a couple of hours drinking some expensive whisky/gin.
I took the initiative to engage in converstaion with a few waiters who initiially appeared nice and engaged.
However, one was extremely rude. I spoke to the specific indiviudal as I converse in the Spanish as my intentions were of an endearing nature.
Unfortunately this person had taken my goodwill nature as an insult! To remedy that matter, I even went to the extent of ringing a friend from South America to validate my sincerity yet the person insulted me and with an extremely rude look and I was asked to leave. This is not what I expected as I had done nothing wrong and I am what you would consider a good paying customer! I was polite and spent more than the average patron within that establishment.
I suggest to Management if you are positioning yourself at the high end of the market to attract certain Clientele then please ensure the customer service is reflective of the prices you charge. Inexperienced staff who do not value the ideals of good customer service is not sustainable in the long term particularly when hiring foreigners who are not representing your business and obviously have a deep seeded cultural issue.
All that I ask is if charging "Rolls Royce" prices please ensure your staff provide a high end service relative to and alligned to this prices you charge. I am being as honest as possible, If it was my businesss, I would excpect and value the same honesty and feedback.
To ascertain the validity of my review you will note I have never written a post before! Generally bad customer service happens from time to time and I value my time not to spend writing negative comments as everyone has a bad moment from time to time.
However, I was completely insulted by the staff, particualry the young man with glasses who likes snow boarding and the employee who obviously does not want anyone to know he is from South America despite his strong South American...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy friend picked up a bottle and checked the price $850 and all four in our group were banned from the venue for stealing. The manager said she reviewed video footage and saw we stole the alcohol. Funny that we picked it up and placed back on the waiters desk. The waiters came 10minutes later and we heard them say - did you put that there? (to each other). So it was only on the fact we replaced it on the waiters desk in HONESTY that we were investigated by video. NEVER A SINGLE DROP OF ALCOHOL STOLEN EVER! The bottle was sitting there untouched!!!! Not in our bag, not stolen, sitting at the waiters table for ten minutes. But both the short male waiter and manager claimed they could call police and have us arrested and charged for STEALING because we touched the bottle. Even when the manager said we reviewed footage and saw you steal alcohol and we replied that we NEVER had anything, she immediately backed down and changed the story and pretended it was about ethics of even picking up the bottle. She knew we never had anything and falsely claimed we had. Anyway HAPPY to never come back! Maybe for workplace health and safety standards donāt have alcohol within reach of a balcony that drunk people could fall over! PLEASE Share the footage on google and prove we stole anything, because you and I know thereās no criminal charge for picking up a bottle and putting it back. Back up your claim that we are thieves and you told us we could be arrested- just so extreme and ridiculous! Instead show the footage that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve lived in Brisbane for over 10 years and always passed this brightly coloured door with its gorgeous knocker - but never knew the absolute treasure that lay behind it until recently!
We were greeted so warmly, just like rocking up at an old friendās place, and the atmosphere was such a beautiful world to enter into. Itās a sultry, dark and moody interior but with beautiful sunshine faces waiting to greet you!
We ordered espresso martiniās, and were told to head up to a table and theyād be brought to us. Found a comfortable little booth but not before stopping to marvel at all the details en route.
Stunning dripping wax candles (real ones, am I right?!) gorgeous wallpaper, and artefacts - in fact I may need to come back just to inspect every little detail more thoroughly! I was clearly that impressed by the wallpaper in the bathroom that itās the only picture I took of the place!
Our host brought the Martiniās and they were divine and just what was needed to keep going into the night.
When we left there was a butterscotch aroma around the bar area - turned out they were experimenting with new flavours and concoctions and the beaming faces, genuinely excited to be creating something new put a smile on my face too. Thatās passion, and itās so evident here.
Thanks for a delightful time, regrets it was only a short...
