We recently had the pleasure of dining at this authentic Indian restaurant, and from the moment we walked in, we were treated to exceptional service and a warm welcome. The staff went out of their way to ensure our every need was met, and we were never left wanting for attention. Our meal began with a cold beverage, which were promptly delivered while we perused the menu. Although it's a BYO establishment, the restaurant offers a range of soft drinks, unfortunately it was a minor let down that our drinks were lacking ice. However, the main event - the food - was truly the highlight of our visit! Our table of five all agreed that the dishes were delicious and impressed by the extensive selection of authentic Indian meals. While we praised the dishes, we did express some mild disappointment (no pun intended) with the lack of heat in our meals. Even the infamous Vindaloo, known for its bold and spicy kick, was surprisingly mild in flavour, and our medium-cooked meals seemed to lean more towards a mild than a medium. Nonetheless, this didn't detract from our overall enjoyment, as every bite was still a joy to savour. The staff, comprised of friendly and attentive individuals, were always on hand to answer questions and offer guidance on the menu choices. Their hospitality was truly a standout aspect of our visit, making us feel like valued guests rather than mere customers. I highly recommend this hidden gem for its authentic flavours, exceptional service, and warm...

We went here because it was recommended by a friend, not sure if we can be friends any more... We ordered take away chicken tikka masala and a garlic naan, which is my standard and favorite for trying out a new indian place. I was pleasantly surprised that the curry came with free rice unlike a lot of other joints these days, but that is where the pleasantries ended. The curry was nothing short of awful. Like some sort of watery soup from a can bought at Coles with floating bits of dry tasteless chicken, and then somehow they have extracted any good flavor out of it. No added herbs or vegetables. Just utter garbage. Literally tasted worse than food court quality Indian. The strange thing is this place is some how still in business, and I've seen pictures from other reviews where the curry did not look anything like the Homebrand curry-in-a-can we were given last night. Either they give out some crap from a trough to take away customers when they are busy, they adhere to no sort of standard, or there are fake reviews on here. No human or animal for that matter would return here after eating that bin juice they tried to pass off as food to us. At this point I would love to recommend an actual good Indian place but I don't want to take any Legitimacy away from this review and make it look like I'm plugging some other place, just go anywhere but this place. It annoys me that I have to give 1 star at all, it deserves none. If the owner reads this; you...

Lovely food, quite different to other places.

I found the Vegetable curry a little sweet. The Nariah Beef was divine but had no heat in it at all and I had asked for medium heat. The flavour made up for that 5 fold.

The basmati rice wasn't dry at all, which many restaurants do seem to ruin. This rice was....luscious, shiny and moist. I want to know how!

I had the Peshawari naan (can't go past it) and this so was soft and moist. At first I thought it was undercooked but no, just perfect. Others I have had have been thin and so dry they part easily with the coconut and fruit fallsout.

My friend enjoyed the cheese and chilli naan as he is used to very hot curries. My other friend loved the Aloo naan.

The atmosphere is a little drab with matt black walls and the music was too loud for us to hear ourselves talk. They need to understand that if seniors ask for the music to be turned down it's because we prefer to talk that play on mobiles and we don't hear as well as we used to.

Despite this, there was one aspect that brightened everything up as much as the food and that was the waiter. Always smiling as if we were his best friends. So kind and polite with nothing too much trouble. Just the way I have served customers in the past. It has been a long time since I have been treated so nicely. I hope he goes far. He just seemed to find the right words to make you feel good and happy.

Just moved to the area and was excited to try this place as I love good Indian food. Should have checked here first to see all the other poor reviews before I ordered my takeaway curry. I ordered a Chicken Balti - something I occasionally order at other restaurants and usually enjoy. This particular one was very watery and the gravy split (indicating it may have been frozen at some point - see photos), the chicken was poor quality with lots of gristle and fat and the flavor was significantly lacking. On the upside; I ordered ‘medium’ and it was sufficient spicy, and the chilli pickle was nice (but tasted the same as other restaurants so I believe it was from a jar). I may come back and try another curry as it’s walking distance from my house but only if I’m desperate and don’t feel like driving to my old Indian restaurant.

I had a riveting time at this 5-Star establishment with my friend Mr.Brar. He flew all the way from Vancouver to tour Brisbane, Sydney and New Zealand. He owns an esteemed condo in downtown Vancouver. His condo faces Rogers Arena which is the stadium where the Vancouver Canucks host all their games. His cousins own this esteemed restaurant in New Farm. They gifted us all these delectable dishes. The Johal, Singh, Cheema, Grewal and Brar families dominate the West Coast of Canada. During this escalating international fuel crisis you must accept armies from other nations. The Red Sea Crisis, Suez Canal Drought, Ukraine war and Palestinian war have obstructed 40% of trade!!!!
