During our trip from Sydney to Brisbane, my friend and I decided to make a pit stop at this charming café around 8:00-9:00 AM in the morning. Our intention was to take a breather, savor a cup of coffee, and indulge in a hearty breakfast. I held modest expectations for the coffee, but to my surprise, I found it quite satisfying. The real highlight, however, was the friendly and kind staff member who took our order. Their warm hospitality added a pleasant touch to our visit. The café offers the choice of indoor or outdoor seating. We opted for the indoor option, considering the time of year. The ambiance inside was cozy and inviting, contributing to a relaxed and enjoyable experience. While the breakfast turned out to be average, I must admit that the café's redeeming quality lies in its commendable coffee offerings. As I reflect on the overall experience, I consider this café a worthy option, perhaps more suitable for an occasional visit. It's difficult to predict whether I would return, but if I find myself in the area again, the allure of a good latte might just be enough to draw me back.

Probably not a repeat customer. I had my reuse cup but was sitting down to eat breakfast, everyone’s drinks were in glasses. Since I was sitting down to eat in and already assessed they used glasses, I did not provide my cup. They brought my coffee in single use plastic, which is frustrating as I make a point to not have coffee unless it’s in a reusable cup. They seem stressed and not so friendly behind the counter, but man running food was very friendly. The omelette and coffee was nothing to write home about in the end, the bread sitting on top of the omelette was strange in my opinion and the omelette was not a great texture and sort of just dry and lacking flavor, the bacon on it was a strange texture/taste also. It was edible.

The coffee was good , not top tier but it hit the spot. I got a dirty Chai with a double shot (double shot is default in NZ but not in aus apparently) with my coffee I had the bacon eggs Benedict. They were generous with the bread and proteins but very light on the sauce, the way they double stacked the bread was a bit weird tho. Overall it’s pretty good value, it’s like $23 for a meal but consistency might be a bit off here. One eggs Benny was perfect and runny with plenty of hollandaise while the other was cooked through without much sauce. It’s a pretty good cafe though I like the vibe so I would recommend. P.s Please fix the wobbly table

Twisted sista sure is twisted and not in a good way. Horrible service. We asked the young man waiter if we go up to order or if it is table service his response was "I think so". Previous to that delightful experience the arrogant female waitress saw us sitting down and looking confused yet continued to ignore us without even cacking half a smile. My friends apple juice took 20 mins to come out and it was only because I asked where it was. I refuse to give my money to this shocking place so I got a nice takeaway coffee and fruit salad from somewhere else. My friend is still waiting for a simple omelet and it has been now a 45 minute wait at a table in the hot sun.

I had to go up and ask where my friends meal is , in true form the waitress response was 'we've been so busy that's all' and abruptly walked off and surprise surprise it finally came out a minute after. Had it been sitting there and just forgotten like the beverage ? Just because you have a huge turn over with tourist doesn't mean this place should lack on basic common sense and basic human...

EDIT: an update from a post from my last review
several months ago! I went back to give this place another try. Sadly extremely disappointed. And that WILL BE THE LAST TIME I GO THERE! the older mature blondish haired woman who made the coffee obviously didn’t know the difference between a latte and a flat white. The double shot was just a long Pour and tasted watery and had that old filtered coffee taste to it! Wasnt worth the money! Here is a tip
If you charge her premium price at least use a proper barista.

Previous review: Amazing coffee food is good but expensive, staff don’t wanna be there. Last few times not pour and even a smile. Today I got their just as they started close no ! (they’re closing at 2:30.) The coffee machine was still being used. She refused to let me buy a coffee. Such a shame they seem to be in a rush to get out. 230 is way too early for a coffee shop to close! more business for the other guy I guess. I will walk straight...
