This is one of two my favourites Indian restaurants in Perth. My husband really like the curry here. Sometimes me and my family went there for dine in or most of the time just take away or Uber , never complain about the food, couple of times we order from Uber the naam bread was slightly burnt n taste a bit bitter but that’s still okay I still considered as a mistake.
But last night about 7pm my husband and I, went there for dine in. The place was quiet that time, so many tables available, and there is one round table that whenever I go for dine in I always sit there unless they are full. And last night me and husband just walk in and sit there, one of the lady stopped us and tell us is not ready to set up, and we didn’t mind to wait, and we sat in other table to wait, and ask the Second Lady she said it was book. I was so upset and still understand, and we set in the other tables. Normally we ordered 5 till 6 dishes and I hate have to eat in small tables with lots of dishes and last night I just ordered 4 dishes considered my table was quite small.
After 20 minutes there was couple (round tables) are empty. After I finished had dinner, I just did the silly things asked the customer who set there (they are only 3 peoples anyway not a big number like 5 or more then I won’t be to curious to asked) and asked them if they need to book the tables or not, and guess what, they said ‘no we just walked in and sit there’. In my mind ‘is it because I’m not Indians so she won’t let me to sit there, or maybe because I didn’t dress up nicely just wore a thongs n short’
Told my husband who really one of this restaurant fans and he said ‘never go in this place ever again’
Never leave reviews about taste of the food if I don’t like it, cz everyone has different taste. But for service once it’s bad I never want to come back. Hope you guys learn n improve to not pick n choose the customer.
Nb : not everyone is rude, I like the guy who was in cashier that normally serves me as well. He does a great job and so nice, keep him...
Read moreI’ve been to this place on Friday night for a family dinner. Food & drinks were good, but even more fabulous was the Service given to us by girl named “RASHI”. Her knowledge about the dishes and way to greeting guests and making them comfortable was flawless. She explains all the spice levels of the dishes we ordered and tried best to fulfill some of our special requirements as well. Though they have very good service staff but senior employees of that place were bit arrogant (only the supervisor) We booked a table with a request of booth which was successfully filled by the restaurant but we had a little annoying issue with the SUPERVISOR ( a guy who receives customers from gate). First he was very unwelcoming to all of us and said do you have any booking?( with arrogance) then my brother went to grab a chair, he with full arrogance stopped him and said “ you can’t take off any chair as we are fully booked today”. We asked him that we can’t fit all of us in that booth either plz provide an extra chair or fix an extra table so we can comfortably enjoy our meals and time. But he didn’t accept and only provide a low height chair. My family members were about to leave and trying to go another place, but Then we asked another girl to change our table and we offered if possible we can sit outside. She checked and said it’s all good. There no doubt this place has best food, but at least on higher positions plz hire someone who deals with a smile and with welcoming gesture. We love to be at this place as we find exact Indian taste of the dishes and we will continue to come , but next time with a good hope that these kind of issues won’t happen again in future. Thanks for serving us 2 fat Indian’s staff especially RASHI...
Read moreMy visiting family and I (4 pax) dined at Carousel 2 Fat Indians last night. We were allocated to 1 of 5 booth seats, and had our food and drink order taken shortly after being seated. The food was nothing short of amazing - delicious flavours across the board. HOWEVER, halfway through my meal, I suddenly felt something on my leg and looked down to find a cockroach crawling up my thigh!!! right in the middle of eating my garlic naan. I jumped up trying to brush it off, but I was seated in the centre of the booth so there was hardly any room to move away. When we looked under the table to see where it had gone, we were HORRIFIED to find a pile of old food left behind from previous diners, gathered in the middle of the floor beneath our table. It was clear that this was what had attracted the cockroach. The experience was extremely unpleasant and completely put us off our meals. None of us could continue eating, and we left shortly after feeling disgusted and uneasy. It’s concerning that a restaurant of this standard could have such poor hygiene with cockroaches crawling on customers and leftover food neglected under the tables.
I informed the staff and the manager before leaving. While they apologised, no meaningful action was taken, which was disappointing given the seriousness of...
