The best Sri Lankan food I have ever had. The best service in Darwin. The owner warmly welcomed us in spite of being the only one running the place. He clearly explained how the set up works, pointed us to the sink to wash our hands if we preferred using our hands. We tried every dish that was there - the yellow rice, eggplant, long beans and carrots, potato masala, chicken, dhal, papadam, carrot sambol, green sambol. Every bite was absolutely flavourful. I’m dreaming of going back. What impressed me even more is that the owner has a very kind heart. I watched him serve someone who couldn’t pay and served him with dignity and for free. That absolutely stole my heart. Satisfied stomach, satisfied tastebuds and satisfied soul. Highly recommend this place.

Amazingly delicious food cooked by Dayan who was serving behind the counter when we visited. I wanted to eat more and more. I had the all you can eat lunch. The eggplant dish was a highlight (see photo: middle circular pan between the mini pappadam and coconut) but everything was yum. Just be careful if you're not used to Asian curries which have casserole cut as there are little pieces of bone to navigate in some dishes.

First time @CURRY14 (Authentic Sri Lankan Cuisine in Darwin) I had a wonderful experience at CURRY 14 and I would definitely recommend this place. They offer the best of food that is absolutely clean and hygienic and also the team is really friendly, caring and soft-spoken. I appreciate their warm hospitality and well is undoubtedly quite delicious.

I recently ordered some catering from Curry 14 for an event we were having for 40+ people. I discussed our ideal menu with Dayan and from the onset he was incredibly accommodating and so gracious. His catering menu was very reasonably prized and for what we received for our event - well worth it! Everyone raved about the food, the flavours and the food which was presented so beautifully. Food pick-up was seamless - he communicated all through out about how to safely deliver the food (which was well packaged) I can safely say our event went off without a hitch, everyone literally had seconds and some thirds - it was that good! Dayan and his wife are beautiful people. Nothing is too hard for them. I can safely say, we'll definitely be ordering from them again and they went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with our order. We'll definitely be back! Thanks...

5 stars won’t do the justice. We have travelled all over Australia and tried several Sri Lankan restaurant through out the country. This is by far the best Sri Lankan restaurant we came across. First, they kept shop open for extra 1.5 hours for us until we get there and also food was delicious. Portion sizes were over average and also came with extra side dishes as well. We received a warm welcome and staff were very friendly. Thank you very much for giving us this nice experience and will see you again if we visit...
