Chatime Belconnen — Restaurant in District of Belconnen

I visited your shop at Belconnen on 3 Nov 2017. We arrived at 1:40 and it took us 20 minutes to be served. There was only one staff member working, Caroline who was obviously inexperienced and struggled with customers ahead of us who had coupons. At around 1:50 another worker arrived who was obviously more experienced yet for around 10 minutes she did nothing to either serve the line of customers or start making the ordered drinks. When she finally started making drinks it took us much too long to receive our two drinks. A customer who ordered 10 minutes after us received her drink first, and 5 minutes later a customer who ordered 15 minutes after us received her drink too. Another worker without a name tag arrived at 2:05, yet did very little to make the drinks of the customers and instead took a toilet break, fiddled with cash registers and took a few boxes out the back. When we eventually received our drinks it was 2:15.

The fact that at a busy time like this, lunchtime, the shop is only staffed with one inexperienced worker is disgraceful and puts unnecessary stress on her as a worker and produces a really poor customer experience. Then, when more experienced workers arrived they took much too long and prioritised minor tasks instead of customers. A 35 minute wait for 2 simple drink is unacceptable. Very rude customer service. I ordered Brown sugar milk tea and i said that I don’t like black pearl and instead i paid for the lychee topping. That lady added both topping and when i saw that i told her that I don’t want black pearl and I don’t like it. She was very rude she said that i have paid for that black pearl and i should have it. I said i dnt want it. It is your responsibility to respect and accept the customer’s preferences. I am paying and i have all the rights to decide what i want. I normally never leave any negative reviews but this lady was too much. And if Cha time is gna have these kind of behaviours, they are gna lose...

bought on 6 may 2023 3:18 pm at Belconnen. worst quailty of frozen taro drink. ordered small frozen taro with pearl. Glad I only ordered the small.The pearls were undercooked and there was hardly any taro flavor. too much ice!!! no wonder the worker had to blend it 3 times and the finished product still had some uncrushed ice. Usual color of this drink is a very slight milky lavender... when i tried the drinki and was surprised at the taste , I opened the rest.of the seal .The color of the drink was greyish... so it was just ice slush with very little taro or milk. would have returned it if i wasnt halfway...
