Society Coffee Co — Restaurant in District of Belconnen

Came for the strawberry matcha trend and stayed for the flamingbird toastie 🥪☕️

This cute classy cafe is located in the nightfall building complex across from the Belconnen/emu bank skate park near BZ burgers and Ikko Japanese.

They do amazing bagels and toasties along with top notch coffee. I have been meaning to try the strawberry matcha latte for a while and it was a 10/10. And if you like a bit of spice like I do, their flaming bird toastie or bagel will hit the spot for you. They have plenty of other traditional options if spicy isn’t your thing.

I’ll definitely be going back...

Society Coffee is at a wonderful little nook near the Lake G, Skatepark, and an express Woolworth. The food is exceptional, service is friendly, and the lattes we ordered were delicious. A real treat.

My only reason for not giving full stars is because the surface of the tables outside wobble uncontrollably while eating. I’m use to a bit of wobble, but this level of tilt should be a concern for a place that sell drinks. (Update: they have since fixed their tables)

I would highly recommend passerby’s to try...

Bought some coffees and a hot chocolate for the team, worst coffees we’ve had in a long time. One was poured down the sink, while the others are slowly being sipped and left around the shop. The pastries weren’t much better, with the cannoli custard tasting dry and suss. The donut was also dry. Thankfully the large cup sizes didn’t end up being that big, so less coffee we had to drink.
