Bad Bunny Eatery is the epitome of Canberran hospitality and you want to come here. The distinctive pink colour scheme is a fun combo with the jail motif seen on the walls, the menu, and even door to the toilets. This vibrant aesthetic is underpinned with good tunes at the right volume to easily speak over. The fantastic staff hit that balance between friendliness and professionalism, and whip up a damn fine coffee using Toby's Estate beans. As for the food, see the pictures, which speak for themselves. Go get your stock-standard bacon & egg roll somewhere else, but come here for food you'll actually remember (and for all the right reasons). The menu is chock-full of items you've never had, but will never stop having once you start. Hot frickin' damn.
Seating comfortable. Toilets clean (sensors on taps are a plus!). Prices incredibly reasonable. Table service, with water put out as soon as you sit down. I have no complaints, but a thousand points of praise.
Bad Bunny Eatery has made my heart break over not being a local. If you don't try it once, you'll die...
Read moreMy family and I have been in the country for almost a month and a half, traveling all over NSW and ACT, and this was hands-down, the best breakfast we have had to date!
While the hollandaise sauce did need a little bit more lemon juice, It was served with slices of lemon, so that worked out well.
I had the avocado toast, and not only were the poached eggs, perfectly cooked, the guacamole/avocado was spiced and flavored (unlike other breakfast joints), and the smear of balsamic vinegar reduction complimented it perfectly. However, what really made it was the shaved slices of sweet potato, that were deli quickly fried and placed on top 🤌 absolutely, outstanding!
Finally, we have been to Beach side restaurants all the way up to five star restaurants (coming from the United States, where good service is expected, and tipped for excellence), this was hands-down the absolute best service we have ever received anywhere in Australia.
Next time I come back to Canberra we are definitely coming back here for breakfast or...
Read moreVisited Bad Bunny Eatery a few months ago during our trip to Canberra, and it quickly became one of our favourite food stops in the city.
Located conveniently close to the city centre, the café offers a well-curated menu with a great balance of flavour and presentation. Every dish we tried was not only delicious but also beautifully plated, which made the dining experience feel extra special.
We absolutely loved the vibe of the place. The interior is thoughtfully designed with fun and playful touches that match the café’s personality. It had a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us want to linger a little longer.
The drinks were a standout. The red velvet latte was rich and comforting, while the strawberry matcha was refreshing and just the right amount of sweet. Both were unique and memorable, and we still talk about them months later.
If you're in Canberra and looking for a place with great aesthetics, good vibes, and flavourful food and drinks, Bad Bunny Eatery is definitely...
