Betty's Burgers — Restaurant in District of Canberra Central

Since this last review below which was I'm guessing maybe about a year and a half ago, we've been maybe another 7/8 times. These guys don't miss, same product every time, like clock work, they just pump out the same delicious burgers time and time again. Now I'm not saying they are better or anything but it's the same consistency I found to be at 5 guys, A&W, and IN N OUT, just like those places ( I've eaten both all over America and Canada) you get consistency, and let's face it, that's exactly what we want when we have a great food experience and head back for seconds and 3rds, especially paying the money we pay these days. Can fault it really.

Ive eaten at Betty's all over Australia, in QLD, NSW, VIC & now ACT, one thing they all have in common is the consistency in a very fresh and delicious burger. Service is always on point, super friendly and just overall lovely to deal with.

The onion rings, chips, burgers, sauce, all perfectly done. My only issue here is I wish there was more locations in the ACT haha. Not that it's a massive problem but anytime I want Betty's I need to make a trip into civic, meaning I can't eat it a few times a week like I would like to. In saying that it's probably best for my waist line that this is the case.

After ordering after a friend, my order was ready before hers. When i came up to get it i saw another order sitting there that matched hers. After that we waited for her to get called but she didn't. After 10-15 minutes we noticed that a whole table of people near us (who came in a ordered after us) had received their orders. The order that looked like hers was still sitting there at the ready counter. My friend went up to ask if that order sitting there was hers and they pushed her aside and said no hers hasn't been done yet. We waited another while and watched as a staff member grabbed the other that had been sitting there for 20 minutes now and looked at it and brought it back into the back as if to discard it. After another five minutes my friend went back up and asked if her order was ready and they said they'll make it straight away. Super odd because we were fairly sure there was just a mix up and they messed up somehow but didn't want to admit it. It left us waiting 30 minutes for her food even tho she ordered before me and we had to watch everyone who came in after us get their orders first and leave. The staff were nice...

After hearing all of the rave reviews & wanting to try this venue since it opened I finally had the opportunity last night 27/1/21. The food was absolutely delicious (well deserved raving feedback from others), quick wait time from order to food on the table, and the decor/interior styling of the restaurant is lovely!

Some constructive critiscism/negatives that I want to share in hopes of helping the restauarant become the 5 stars the food deserves it to earn are:

Signage in the restaurant still displays products that are no longer offered (2x concretes) and doesn't display that they aren't done by Betty's anymore, you are instead told upon trying to order them that they aren't available and we were asked to look at the printed menu instead. A simple sticker over the product signage to say 'not available' would be good for customers.

Tables are sat very close to the food pickup points which doesn't make for easy access to get your food upon it being ready. This would therefore not be a wheelchair/walker/disability friendly venue which is a shame considering how good the food is!
