Gelatissimo Canberra centre has Friendly staff who are quick to serve. They are happy to let you sample flavours to help you decide. Plenty of flavours to choose from and often on a high rotating basis. Often there are new seasonal flavours. Join the Gelatissimo membership and earn points for every purchase. The points are converted to cash to discount your future purchases. Membership will supply you with free upsize which you will be notified by email. There are also promotional and seasonal days where gelato is discounted. Staff at times will provide you with coupons to use at another visit.

This place used to be one of where must stop-by places in David Johns Department. It was because of a quality of this brand Ice cream and unchanged taste. However, recently some disappointment with a quantity of Ice cream has been noticed - Small amount in comparison to not only other branches of the same Gelatissimo brand but even other brands. It was understood and considered as temporary, but it maybe not as a result of persistency even today. Consumers know and can feel the difference at the end of the day.

Definitely deserves better than 3.7 ⭐️ average here. It's the 2nd best gelato chain in the east coast of the country and has been around for a long time. Their flavours have been fantastic as always. On this occasion it was chocolate sorbet and wicked double choc brownie. Both great flavours and I would highly recommend them. They allow taste tasting before you buy as well. Regards @fooderarri

Gelatissimo is great ice cream…very tasty. This particular outlet, however, has decided that being frugal and ungenerous is the way to go. It’s the epitome of small-minded and counter-productive business thinking. We ordered three double-scoop cups, and for each cup, the server filled one side of the (tiny) cup up with the first flavour, then got 1/2 the amount of the 2nd chosen flavour and barely pushed it down into the cup, sticking it to the side of the first flavour and leaving a significant void below it in the cup, but being careful to make it look like the cup was full. It is clearly a decision that has been made by the proprietors to do it this way because multiple servers served us and both were very careful about “filling” the cup in this way. I was able to push the 2nd flavour into the void below so that flavour was level with the top of the cup, and not heaped as in the photos displayed. This is an entirely stingy and dishonest way to serve their product, and so I recommend you go elsewhere to get value for money firstly, but mainly to not get played or be disrespected by the proprietor. Gelatissimo Canberra Centre: Be better, go get some therapy to help you get over your fear of lack.

In addition, it appears I’m far from the first to notice this trend, and reading through Gelatissimo Canberra Centre’s pro-forma responses to poor reviews it is clear they’re not interested in changing their ways nearly as much as they are in manufacturing a facade of care about their customers’...

I normally buy ice cream with my daughter after movies. But on the 7th July 2023 after 5pm l felt the customer service was mehhh...l came earlier bt l was ignored and customers who came after me where given preference on what grounds l do not know. I even saw the male nudging the female server to attend to me as l had come earlier but she flatly refused prefering to serve the two gentlemen who came after me.l dont want this to descend into something other than what it is but this place needs to Train their workers on customer service and that all customers are equal and should be treated as such irregardless. I felt so enraged but l controlled myself and afterwards l felt like throwing the ice cream in a trash can and going to buy where l would be treated like a paying customer. With the harshness of the economy businesses need to polish up their presentation otherwise you will self destroy yourselves. I wont be back and l will discourage anyone wanting to try your ice cream. Ice cream should be a happy experience not a place of nasty ancient...

Quite small scoops, quite pricey, but lots of lovely clear flavours! Candy Wonderland + Caramel (2 scoops) Macademia/Salted Caramel + Belgian Chocolate (2 scoops in cone) Price: $15.20

Nice mouthwatering presentation. "Clear" flavours. Quite small scoops. Pretty firm in texture to be gelato.

We are big on ice cream in our family, but high quality such. Been living in France and Austria that are great superb with their gelato, my 10 yr old and me rate this place 4/5. I would have liked a softer texture and slightly bigger scoops (due to price).

The presentation of the icecreams is lovely (not over the top of all decoration on top of the various flavours), as nice as we walked back to buy some.

The flavours I tried (none were sorbets), were pretty clear and well balanced. They also have a variety of flavours that should fit each individual...
