Family of 5 went in for lunch. Kids ordered their own sushi rolls & drinks. Sat down and waited for our drinks and food. Tables werenāt very clean. Asked the staff member to wipe them. Food and drinks came out in a mix. Two kids were handed a plate with 8 small pieces of sushi on. By the time they had almost finished eating, the youngest child and myself (or so we thought) we were waiting for our sushi. Turns out they put two rolls on each plate and didnāt bother telling us that! For $8 a roll we kind of expected more than what was given & when each kid told the waiter what they would like for lunch- it was very obvious that it should have been put on a plate each. When I enquired about where our sushi was- the girl said she gave us the 4 rolls. When I said we were only given two plates- she said yeah we put two rolls on each plate. I said it would have been nice to know that before the kids had eaten from their plates and I was offered another empty plate. Well sorry- but that doesnāt help when there is not much sushi left! The sushi was ok. Not the best one ever- but not the worse. The karaage chicken was ok and the chicken teriyaki was good. The drinks were all disappointing- they have an iced coffee on the menu- but canāt do ice cream or cream in it. So itās actually an iced latte. Maybe they should change the menu to say iced latte OR buy some ice cream!! The mango smoothies taste like milk with a hint of mango and the juices that you choose to make how you like, may taste good but are warm and very much needed ice OR cold fruits. Overall- staff donāt seem to put care into service or food. For $92 on a lunch for 2A & 3C it is not worth it when you leave dissatisfied. Picture below shows the small plate that they put Two rolls on ($16...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe came up to Exmouth for the day as we are traveling northern Aus, decided to come here as sushi was advertised and weāve been craving it since hitting the road. The cafe itself was beautiful a nice atmosphere and an array of food options but the service provided was horrible. I stood waiting to be served in-front of two females and neither of them seemed to have wanted to serve me. After they decided who was going to serve me it went down hill from there I was polite and friendly to which she was not. I paid with cash and when she gave me back my change I held my hand out to collect it but she shoved it down onto the counter. I was extremely disappointed as the customer service did not match the vibe of the place and her service ruined the experience completely. Do better, youāre working in a tourist attracted town if you donāt have any customer service skills why work...
