First time in Exmouth and in total explore mode. The Beach Shack was the first place to come up in reviews. I like to read a mix of what people say. Best and the worst. The worst talk about quality of food. How much is spoilt by batter. Give it a miss etc

My stance? Ya in Australia. I'm yet to find many seaside places from the east, south, north or west that don't batter their seafood. Can we blame that on our heritage? This is NOT the Mediterranean.

This place exudes a great vibe, great staff, great view and are pet friendly. We came just before sunset and the sit back and relax was divine.

If you are looking for top end quality cooking from inside a NO view, shoved into a corner, restaurant that has a chef from Paris or Italy, then this is not for you.

If you are after yummy and easy food and awesome views, awesome chats with staff and chill out vibes, this is your place. This is for sure your place!

We are here is the off season and it's quiet, easy going and laid back.

Think we may even return tonight.

BYO wine and spirits. Don't forget to bring your spirit. You...

One of the worst restaurant I’ve ever been to. We ordered 2 fish and chips, and they mentioned a 25 mn wait. After a big wait of 1.5 hours, they finally give us some free drinks, and 30 mn later our fish and chips and fish and salad were ready. The chef from the kitchen said : sorry I had no more chips so I put some salad instead 🤣🤣🤣 Never seen that in my life !! They didn’t seem to understand it needed a refund, didn’t offer us to eat something else instead for free because WOW we gave you some free drinks 🤣🤣 we finally got a 50% refund just on that small fish, THANKS for that wonderful night, we are still starving and...

A beautiful place but bloody windy with no where to shelter from it. Pick a still day to visit. Also quite expensive, a milkshake was $7.50 and only came in a cup that maybe had about 250 mills in it. The kids then needed to buy another one to get a real milkshake. ( what’s wrong with a normal stainless milkshake cup like the rest of the world). The food was great but a family cost us over $250 for breakfast. You guys should also get some cool artwork on your boring shipping containers, it’s a waste of a good...

Great little Cafe just off the main road beside the Ampol servo. Has a cool relaxed vibe with seating out the front under shade on an eclectic mix of tables & chairs. Cafe is byo - grog shop 200 metre walk away softdrinjs available. Menu is not large but all the food was well cooked, tasty & nicely presented. We had a bucket of prawns, fish nachos, fish & chips, chicken burger & chips - all recommended. Parking is out front & free. Prices are fair - everything is a bit $ in Exmouth.

The view was fantastic unfortunately the drinks of which there were several due to the large party were not and the food was average. No-one had coffee so I can't comment on that. There was a very short walk to the beach and there was also a small sandpit area near the seating for children to play in. There wasn't much shade to sit under but it has only just warmed up so maybe some more might be put up or other ppl like sitting in the sun 🌞
