We came to eat with some friends last monday. There were 4 of us at the begining and a friend joined us. We politely asked for an extra chair. We didn't want any conflict, we came in peace. The boss didn't like this, and spoke to us in a very military manner! We had to place ourselves according to HER wishes and her seating plan. We didn't understand her reaction, which made her even angrier! She started dictating my movements, telling me to get out of the way, I couldn't even take 1 second to grab my bag! And all this time, she was screaming! People in the restaurant stopped talking. I'm a very sensitive person when it comes to hearing, and she was shouting at me very loudly and very close to me. As a result, I was deaf in my right ear during all the evening. It still hasn't gone completly away today, thursday. We just wanted to go to the restaurant, we were polite, we didn't want to do anything wrong. I had no problem before I walked in...

My partner and I ordered a bruschetta, napoletana dish and a creamy pork dish with a pesto salad. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to eat our mains as we were catching a movie, but the staff were so kind to pack our mains into takeaway containers and provide us with wooden cutlery. When we were able to eat the mains later, the food was still amazing and the pork was tender. The napoletana sauce was simple but was clearly home made and had a lot of depth in the flavour. It would have been exceptional to eat them when they were fresh.
This is a terrific restaurant that is family-run, and you can tell with the warm service and clear passion and skill put into the quality of the dishes despite how busy the place is. Thanks so much for the lovely...

Came in with low expectations and left amazed and happy. Great atmosphere, it felt really homey, the staff were very friendly, the service was amazing and the food was to die for. The minestrone soup was a great start and very hearty, the #bruschetta was just your average bruschetta but the tomato was in bigger chunks and a fair bit of it, the spinach ravioli was the best, I absolutely loved the sauce, the mushroom wasn't to overpowering, the base of the lemon tart was a bit on the abit on the dry side but the lemon curd made up for it and the tiramisu was definitely made in house and had a strong coffee flavour which I love. Everything worked together. Also when you usually get a salad at restaurants it's from a packet but my husbands wasn't, it was literally...
