1919 Lanzhou Beef Noodle (Robina) — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at Lanzhou Beef Noodle, especially for a food court setting in Robina Shopping Centre. The location is convenient, and the live noodle-making was amazing to watch—it really adds to the experience.

I had the special pork noodle as a meal with lamb skewers, and everything was delicious. The noodles were incredibly fresh with a perfect texture—smooth, springy, and slightly chewy in the best way. You can really tell they were handmade on site, with that ideal balance between firmness and bounce that you just can’t get from pre-packaged noodles. It made the dish so satisfying to eat.

The lamb skewers were also excellent—perfectly marinated with cumin and spices, tender and full of flavour. I also had a herb egg on the side, which was really tasty—the flavours were fully infused into the egg, giving it a rich, savoury depth that paired perfectly with the noodles.

I tried their coconut juice as well—it wasn’t sweet, which I really appreciated as a refreshing contrast to the savoury dishes.

Although we came quite early for dinner, most of the cold dishes were already sold out, which says a lot about their popularity. I’ll definitely be back to try more cold dishes, dumplings, and other noodle options....

4🌟 2 months later 🤗 I had Pork and cabbage pan-fried dumplings 😋 🤩🤩They were very nice🥳🥳 Are they hand made??? Full of filling and nice texture of the skin😚 I got some sauces , they were nice withe them😋 It was a snack for me but made me full😮‍💨 I’d love to try more their dishs😉😉

3.5⭐️It's my first visit for my lunch😋 I was interested in having a look at making fresh noodles 🍜 I had a Combo meal of beef noodle soup, a tea egg and a potato salad😚 I just a little bit of soup first, it was a gentle flavour but after mixed soup and noodle it changed more to a thick flavour 😳 It's not spicy, maybe Sichuan pepper(?) came later in my mouth😆 I liked the silky thin noodles which I chose😍 The beef was not my favourite 😅 The egg was not sure the cracked already is correct….? It was so hard to peel🤣 I love potato salad, it is a crunchy texture, nice with hot noodles 🍜 👍🏻 Luckily I could see the making noodles🥳 I’d love to try their dumplings...

I ordered Combo B: Beef noodles ("Thin") + Tea egg + Pickled radish.

Service was very friendly. The server was very helpful in explaining options and the food did not take too long.

I opted for a small amount of chilli oil and found it not so spicy and enhanced the flavour which is perfect for me. I did try the soup without any chilli and it's also very tasty for those who can't handle any chilli at all. With the chilli it was enough to just feel a slight tingle on my tongue only when I drank some cold drink. I loved the side dishes too.

For those who don't eat a lot it would be perfect to share between 2 people (eg. Elderly couple etc)

Definitely on my list to come back again!
