I recently had the absolute worst experience of my life, and then paid for the privilege. It annoys me that I have to give 1 star. First of all, my wife, daughter and I stood in the doorway waiting to be started for what felt like close to 10 minutes, when we were eventually seated. We started by ordering the “fancy floss” drink off the kids menu for our daughter through a staff member and proceeded to spent a considerable amount of time placing our order through the app only to get an error message and having to then reorder via a staff member. The staff member took our order with a few changes to our meals (no pickles on burgers, my wife swapping her fries for sweet potato fries) etc. we waited a while for our food, but in the meantime we received a rather fancy looking drink for our daughter that didn’t seem right, but being called the fancy floss we assumed it must have just been a bit of a novelty drink. It was a full size martini glass with fairy floss and a cocktail shaker full of cranberry and pineapple juice. This was served to our 3 year old daughter (remembering we ordered off the kids menu) and if not for my wife asking for a plastic cup as it’s for my daughter and the young server hesitantly telling us “you know that’s alcoholic right” when bringing back a DIRTY plastic cup, we would have served it to our 3 year old child. Then he took the drink away to the bartender who defensively checked through the drink slips to prove she didn’t make the mistake only to realise that she did indeed and then offering up absolutely no way of apology. We almost served up some pretty serious alcohol to our 3 year old daughter. Let that sink in for a second! This is where we should have stood up and left. But our food did eventually arrive and we received the wrong drink, the changes we requested on the burgers had not been made, the sweet potato chip upgrade that my wife paid extra for was regular fries, the sauce we ordered was wrong, they brought my daughters correct drink out and spilled it all over our table and left me to clean it up. We then had to wait as they then took our burgers back out the back to “make the changes” we requested in the first place. The food came back and it was like warm at best, the burger patties were dry and not very nice. The staff were unapologetic and what seemed to be the manager actually laughed when we pointed out the chip upgrade hadn’t happened as if we were being difficult. The atmosphere was awful as the music from the giant speaker was cutting in and out constantly which was extremely annoying. Maybe more so because of the terrible experience we had had with everything else. As a result the staff did clock off my wife’s burger from the bill but given everything that happened I feel this was an inadequate compensation… I will never be returning to TGI Friday, there was absolutely no redeeming factor of our experience. And I will be reporting the alcohol issue to the Office of Liquor and Gaming for almost giving my 3 year old a cocktail instead of a drink from the kids menu...
Read moreBeing my the annually recognized happenstance of my birth. My family and I decided to try something different after a recommendation from my brother. He enjoyed his meal there when he went so we had relatively high hopes for it. Now my family does have some dietary requirements that make restaurants a relative mine field with the fallout of one misplaced mouthful and the next 24hrs gets REALLY uncomfortable. The service initially was pleasant and we were seated quickly, our waitress was also pleasant and prompt. However got slightly confused with our order. So after a couple of quick explanations about allergies she repeated back the order in full. We were talking about the prospect of a settlement on mars within the next decade and the socio-economic implications of that on the stock market when the first part of our order came out with an explanation that the next part would be 10 minutes away. Young master 3 was still busy coloring in the kids menu so we weren't too concerned. My meal arrived and we waited a further 10 minutes for the last meals to arrive. When the Vegan burrito bowls came out we noticed some very real looking sour cream. I tasted the substance and it tasted very much real. So we asked the waitress about it and she said that she wrote down vegan so it should be vegan. My wife's digestive system exploding was not worth a maybe. So we asked if she could check with the chef. She came back an explained the chef "wasn't sure if he put the real sour cream on there" so we would get two more meals made for us. Young master 3 was now losing interest in the coloring and going after my sisters meal with gusto. Two more bowls arrive and they have the dressing on them that we requested not be included in the meal. A couple minutes go by and we are wondering where young master 3s meal is. When an enthusiastic young waitress comes up and asks how our meals were. We replied that the young man still hasn't recieved his meal and watched the color drain from her face (we didn't see her for the rest of the visit). So 50ish minutes after we sat down the young man got his Chicken and fries with a few minutes to eat them before we had to go.
We were refunded the burrito bowls and the kids meal was also complimentary which is why there are 2 stars instead of just one.
TL:DR version... Probably won't be going back. Burrito bowls weren't really worth the wait and tasted bland and watery. Service wasn't exactly steller and it was EXPENSIVE for what we got in food and service.
I don't like leaving negative reviews, I really don't, but I honestly don't feel like we got what we paid for. Sorry guys, please see this as constructive criticism and not...

Have contacted TGI Friday’s after my review was posted and the PR team had responded. I did exactly what they said and emailed a copy of my review and my full contact details and STILL NO RESPONSE 2 weeks later. Do not go here, I think they respond to all negative reviews Inviting us back to save their public image and don’t actually follow through... do not go here
I went here last night with a group of my work colleagues for a going away dinner for one of our girls. None of us had been here before so we thought we would give it a chance! We had heard mixed reviews but went ahead anyway. We had a booking of 14 people so we were going to be spending a decent amount. First thing I noticed the menu is VERY overpriced for what it is. Long story short almost everything that could have gone wrong, went wrong. The waitress accidentally spilled a cocktail on one of our girls as the lid fell off and went all over her, then every meal that proceeded to come out was incorrect, eg. Vegetarian being served pulled pork nachos, people who paid for chicken to be added had no chicken on the meal, all chips were cold, waited half an hour for aioli, burrito bowl came out as a normal salad (burrito bowl is $5 more expensive) it was honestly a mess. The waitresses were nice-ish however did try to tell us we ordered wrong and it was our fault which rubbed me the wrong way, she was almost arguing with us that we must have said our orders wrong.. can you imagine? All 14 orders were wrong in some way and she is trying to blame us? No voucher or anything was given to us to try to redeem themselves so we were all super unhappy with everything. None of us will be back here and definitely won’t be recommending it to anyone. There’s other better restaurants that are cheaper with...
