My husband had a burger and loved it. He ordered by electronic menu. I wanted some chicken and waited at the counter until hubby said you have to order via the touch screen menu. I am unsure if this is right but with getting ignored when I was standing at the counter gave him the benefit of the doubt and he ordered for me. I had chicken nibbles which had a sweet Asian sauce and sesame seeds sprinkled on top. Considering this is supposed to be chargrilled I was disappointed. No smokey flavour. Other than that the chicken had a lovely crunch. I also had a Caesar salad with sweet potato. I think I need to spend more time at the touch screen menu board. I would prefer to be served by a person as I didn't get exactly what I wanted. All and all experience was, ....meh! I am unsure how they could call themselves a restaurant., just another food hall, bar. So not really an atmosphere. Further on I have read other reviews and understand what The kitchens are about. I will be back to review more.

Tucked inside Robina Town Centre, The Kitchens is like the slightly more upmarket version of the regular food court. It’s a big open space with an almost auditorium feel — but still relaxed, never too crowded, and always somewhere to sit. You’ll find a great mix of eats here: Malaysian, Korean, Japanese, cafes, bakeries, and artisan food spots. Woolies is right in the middle too, which is super handy. Always clean, always a good vibe. The Thai place upstairs is a favourite — definitely worth trying. Check the photos for more hidden gems.

Huge selection of 30+ cafes and restaurants, from simple and cheap to full-on-Japanese-perfection at Saiko and Mad Asian. :: Casual Dining, try Coming Home Company and try Crafted Coffee Co. Ari Thai is excellent. Wander around the food hall on ground level and upstairs and you’ll be delighted. For quiet and delightful, head to Crema Eapresso upstairs. My favourite.

Some good food to be found. But the lighting is a little dim, the generic signs are unappealing, and there never seems to be any deals. They claim The Kitchens is open late, but most of the restaurants close when the shopping centre does.

The fruit and veg shop is good, fresh, value, it has a quality florist, and even a fitness centre.

Try the restaurants upstairs. They're hidden gems. The Japanese restaurant, Hero Sushi, (upstairs - there are two, one per level) has the best, well priced, salmon sashimi on the Gold Coast. Not bad, but Pacific Fair's new food concept area does it better. If this place would change the signage and brighten it up a bit, is be here...
