My wife's experience at this store was woeful. She ordered on the app, she got to the speaker she was told there was a 15min wait on chicken (I wouldn't think that a place that has chicken in its name would run out of cooked chicken) she was asked to park. When the order came she checked it and found that they had substituted the large potato and gravy with 4 small gravies with out telling her so she went in to the store to find out why this had been done? She was then told that they had run out of potato and gravy. And they could swap it for chips but as we had ordered a family meal and already had 3 large chips that would not help our family, so he offered coleslaw or a drink, to which my wife said that our kids wouldn't eat coleslaw and we already had drinks so what else could he offer that would fill up kids, he then conferred with another one of the employees and then came back and offered 10 nuggets. My wife accepted. He then went to get the Agreed upon nuggets when another staff member came over to ask what he was doing and told him not to do it. Then the other staff member came over and told my wife that they would only swap it for chips, coleslaw or a drink. Once again, my wife said no to this. So they said they would make a potato and gravy specially for this order, but it would be another 5 minutes. My wife told this staff member that. All the rest of the order was now getting cold in the car and something would need to happen with that if she was to wait another 5 minutes. So they took all of the order back and said they would replace the whole order as it was ordered. When they finally brought the completed order she had waited near on 30min and all 3 chips were no where near full. They could have made a fresh potato and gravy when cooking the chicken at the start or they could have honoured the agreed 10 nuggets but instead they replaced 6 nuggets 3 large chips 8...
Read moreIt's good to see that qld kfc can't get things right just as much as Victoria.
I understand how busy you can get and the stress, my own first job was at kfc, we all had our own "station areas" and our own jobs to do. This was 30 years ago, We were proud to get a first job representing a well known company, I know that these days "it's just a job"
So when I say you had one job to make the burger , that's where I shake my head and think. Take some pride in your work.
A chicken fillet burger, has 3 items Lettuce, Mayo and chicken. 4 including the bun. My burger arrived with no luttuce, upon speaking to someone,No apology just oh.... When it came back it was the smallest amount, kfc prices aren't a cheap feed these days ,I pd just under $50 for 3 people, it would be nice to have what's on the burger and be able to see it.
Adding to our dine in experience cutely and our condiments were forgotten. Suggestion, work on one order at a time . Until your confident that you can get it right doing more.
To the young man with the piece of hair hanging out side his hat and him then twirling it in his fingers. DONT . You are on show at the front desk we see everything
There was one young lady I think her name was paige, she was lovely, I asked for a cloth to clean table ,she came straight out ,apologised and did it, also told me to...
Read moreI can only speak from my experience but it's not great - I had a zinger missing from a large drive through order so I went inside to inform the staff that it was missing and they asked for me to show them whole the bag, which is fine but my kids had tucked into their food (it was an order for a family of 5).
They demanded to see the bag in it's entirety but I wasn't exactly going to take the food out of the mouths of my 3 hungry kids. This was all during the higher point of the COVID outbreak in QLD as well so it wasn't really appropriate to be double/triple handling food. I had worked in fast food for many years and if a customer is adamant and calm and insisting that one item out of many is missing, the customer should always be considered right and just replace the item.
Eventually they did get around to giving me the missing burger but that would have been a good 10 minutes of serving everyone in the drive thru and in store first. It was basically an eff you. They should have prioritised a paying customer's missing item.
I won't be going back there, this wasn't the first issue I had there. Avoid if possible there are plenty of other options in the...
