We stopped for a well earned refreshment and to suss the place out. I was impressed firstly by the cleaning I saw going on at tables and chairs as people left and by the general all round neat and tidy appearance. of Crafted As a high people turnover type of place, these aspects are often left. Well done. The menu is pretty extensive and has a great range to cover most tastes, including some real vegetarian options. There was also a neat and tidy display cabinet with all manner of goodies for those that want the visual stimulus rather than ordering from a menu. The food I saw coming out looked good although this time we had no time. Next time! My partners coffee was rated "very good "which is pretty high praise from her. My chai latte was awful; very sweet and bitter but I was thirsty so drank it fine. But hey, that is no reason to complain; the coffee was excellent, the chai latte was not...no big deal. Coffee is always “hit and miss” thing and I am usually very wary of ordering coffee in an unknown place . This cafe appeared to know what they were doing , It had all the bells and whistles with pictures but guess what? I got heated milk instead that had NO coffee taste in it!!

I am not sure how many coffees they make using the same coffee powder on the machine . When customers are paying $5 for a coffee please at least give them fresh coffee from a freshly grounded powder. The warm milk you served me went straight to bin as it had no coffee in it .

Been coming here over a number of years. Good coffee , but other things going downhill. My quite tasty spinach and feta triangle was 50% unappetising pastry- which I left . The plates are tin camping plates- an attempt to be “trendy” perhaps but woefully misjudged. No salt and pepper or sugar on the tables - but sachets supplied on request. Fetch-it-yourself water is fine but the supplied glasses are the smallest possible size and there are no bottles to take to the table, so when you finish your glass of water you either weave back through the other tables to the tap or stay thirsty. This is NOT a wayside burger joint but a mid-price mall cafe. The distinction...
