Read moreWe had horrible experience here. One which I'll never forget. We live locally in broad beach and then den Devine is quite new in town. We went there a couple times for the live music which in my opinion is some of the best live music in gold coast. Upon entering we were told to sit out side. We sat there for about five minutes then we're signalled to come in and sit down at a table which we did, we were given menus as we watched the band play they were great. Quite Shortly after we were asked if we like to order. there was no way that anyone could have made up their mind on what they would like in that short amount of time. Soon after that, the waiter return and said "if you would not like to order then we will have to move you" we were about to order at this time and one of us went to the bar to make an order. Then the original woman who was there when we originally arrived come over she said some really horrible stuff to us something like we had a bad attitude and that we shouldn't be there if we didn't want to order which we were in the middle of doing. My partner and I looked at each other and both though wow let's leave, these guys are maniacs. Once all gathered out the front we were all confused about why we had been treated like that. the owner over heard our conversation and came over he was really upset and was yelling at us something about how he has to pay rent he was clearly drunk which is very unprofessional and illegal. He asked us where we work he looked at us head to toe and judged our appearance. He was very upset. for no apparent reason he had begun unloading the stresses of running a business onto us. As if it were all new to him. Extremely unprofessional behaviour. A frightening experience and I hope that this poor man can get some help he seemed really...
Read moreAn all round terrible experience. First they thought they could seat 15 ppl around a row of 4 small tables with 4 large chairs down one side which left 3 of our party without table space at which to eat. The band were so loud I couldn't hear the ppl sitting opposite me and actually led to one of us having a sensory related stress attack. They then told us we had only a limited amount of time to eat but then didnt take our orders till after an hour after we'd arrived. When I ordered a lemonade it was brought out in an unopened bottle and in reply to my surprised expression I was then asked if i wanted a glass! They also forgot one of our meals! There was also over a 30 min difference between when the first meal was served and the last one brought out. The food I ate was fairly average, the ceaser salad was dry. And then before we had even had our bday cake they told us they needed us to leave and extra 15 mins earlier than theyd originally said! If I could give them minus stars I would. Also! No covid safe distancing and it was not even asked or suggested that we check in! Id actually walked in and out over half a dozen times and only saw the checkin poster by accident as we were leaving.
Dont do it. Go anywhere else, Broadbeach is full of restaurants that physically...
