Overall, they have some great Canton style of food. However, we booked and went there tonight at 6pm, and ordered our food as one of the earliest tables (less than 5 tables when we were there). We know the foods are great there, so we took our parents there.
We ordered 3 lobsters with noodles and 3 other dishes. Within 20min, the whole restaurant was filled with people. Somehow, they made us waited for nearly an hour before our food was on the table, and they were wrong with our food order.
Seeing our 2 young children screaming for hunger, and the very food we ordered were served at different tables who come much later than we did drives me mad. I'm very disappointed with them! And their lack of organisations and priorities.
I still like their food and the price is reasonable, bit I will not go back there if they are packed. Meaning that a potential disaster with our food orders and our dinning experience...
Read moreThe venue was falling apart, with a roof that looked ready to cave in and a very dated restaurant space. Service was appalling, and the food was even worse.
The beef was like jelly, soft, brittle and the pork was so dry it looked like it had been sitting out for a week. We didn’t touch those meals. The satay chicken was the only thing remotely edible. We paid the $170 bill, and left.

There’s a saying: stick to the restaurants you know so you don’t get disappointed. After this experience, I’m just hoping I won’t be spending the next 24–48 hours on the toilet from the chicken. When we returned an hour later to pick something we had accidentally left on the seat, our dirty dishes were still sitting there and it wasn’t busy. Maybe they were keeping our meals for the kitchen staff. We...

In gold coast we tried grand dynasty.
That was ok.
Then we had coffee at send coffee which was great and saw this place...king's palace.
The lobsters on display were impressive in number. We were curious as to how many they would sell.
A quick search on Google showed minimal reviews even though the place has been opened for over 10 years.
We decided to give it a try since we could simply order a couple of dishes and bail should it not be up to scratch.
To our delight this place was just amazing.
With the exception of chicken feet and a sub par turnip cake the rest of the dishes were just exceptional.
Our favourites were the egg tart, the Chang Fen, the custard bun.
Make this your yum cha place...actually don't, so I can come here without needing to be...
