Lam Lam Delicate Thai — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

If there were 10 stars Lam Lam lives up to the English translation of it's name - Yummy Yummy. Lam Lam' s Pad Thai, the dish h that determines a Thai restaurant's authenticity for me, was devine, the best that I have ever eaten and better than my own. Our chicken satay was tender and delicious as was the beef Masaman curry served with a delicately aromatic blue coconut rice, a specialty of northern Thailand. We were so impressed with the quality, range of dishes and value for money that we went back the following night with a family member. Who would have thought that this tiny unassuming little local restaurant would be such a wonderful gourmet gift. The food was wonderful, very tasty but the delivery person from Uber Eats sucked. First he sent a message that he expected a tip then another random message that our order would not be started until we reacted to his previous message about the tip then he called and told us to pick up our food outside some random place near us where he’d left the food on a bench. I live in a townhouse complex and he couldn’t be bothered delivering to the door. I only just moved in to my new home yesterday and when I told him I didn’t know where he’d left it as I didn’t know the area, and asked him to please go and pick it up and bring it to me, he hung up on me. Ordered delivery and it was late. I was given the drivers contact details by an email I received. Driver told me the food was not ready and he had to wait 15 minutes. After waiting I contacted driver again and he told me he was given a new job to do first. I rang restaurant and got answering machine. I walked 1O minutes to the restaurant and when I arrived I was told the order had been picked up. Walked back to apartment as Food was received by my wife while I was in the restaurant enquiring. I Ordered a pork dish and a beef dish was delivered. Restaurant staff would not accept they made a mistake. The receipt which is used for quality control and ticking the meals packed for delivery, did not have the pork dish ticked.
