Edit: it's now 2025 and i decided to go back since the staff is different and their upgraded building. With my food i ordered a babychino (for my daughter) with marshmallows on the kiosk. Baby chino came and there were no marshmallows. I took it back with the pick slip and showed the drink and i had paid for marshmallows. Nice young man took the drink back to the ladies making the coffees and an older lady says "We don't have marshmallows, we haven't had them for 6months". So i was confused as to why i wasn't told and refunded. They just say nothing and keep your money? She didn't read the add on on the coffee slip? So i said i ordered it on the kiosk....why am i able to if you haven't had them for 6mths???? Anyway she called the manager over for a refund and he was nice about it at least. Seems it's still crap after 4yrs.
stopped coming here because they NEVER get the order correct. So after 7 times in a row of utter uselessness (during Covid so there was no excuse as it wasn't busy and receiving a burger with pink meat and the box smelt like rotten meat) i gave up. Stupidly returned after 3 months thinking they may have improved, have new staff now...but no...had to wait 15 minutes for my Family Box. I made sure to check my order before walking out...missing 1 of 4 fries, the box of nuggets and sauces, Quarter Pounder missing the meat pattie (yes i got the bun and a cheese slice with a pickle). all the Quarter Pounders had grill slips with No Onion but only one came with no onion. The chicken & cheese burgers had no cheese on the actual burgers....it was all on the side and the paper because they were made and squashed to the side...not even wrapped properly to cover the burger. So after another 10 mins i had to ask for fresh fries. Left angry with my now watered down drinks that had been sitting for 20mins. Absolute joke. I wasn't the only one complaining at the time too. A lady came in angry her food was thrown at her in the car after waiting 15 mins for 2 burgers made wrong..twice. Some staff are rude and the Manager didn't really put them in line or question any work ethics. I wasn't rude and didn't yell but offered nothing but sorry about that. The girl trying to help me wasn't rude. Staff and manager were not proactive, assertive and definately can't handle a busy period...running a sinking ship. Definately will never return. The last 7 times has been an experience like this. I've never had a wrong order from Australia Fair or Carrara McDonald's which have become my regulars. AVOID THIS PLACE .... JUST LIKE THEIR...
Read moreIve been to this Macca's too many times and the way it just gets worse as the years go by is a joke, not having to ask for your food to be corrected here is an extremely rare occurrence (maybe 1 in 10 visits you won't have to complain). Head office really needs to check this one out and re-train their staff as they do not uphold the Macca's protocols and freshness promises and they've been getting away with it for years! I've never been given fresh chips unless I ask them to remake my fries. I've been given a frappe with a hole in the cup and it messed up my upholstery. Ive been given rubbery inedible chicken multiple times. Every time I've ordered a wrap from them the wrap is always so stuck to the wrapper I've had to either just eat the inside or eat a bit of paper :) The worst one was when I handed back my chips as they were stone cold and the worker put them straight back with the other chips to go into people's orders. I've told Macca's and sent emails about all these situations and I've never once had reimbursement (they say they'll pass it onto the owner and they will decide on reimbursement and I have never once received a voucher) and only got a "sorry won't happen again" when I told them about the chips being put in another customers food after I had them. Every other complaints is being ignored and the owners do not compensate customers when they are 100% deserving of reimbursement. The company itself needs to step up and keep restaurants inline as the company has made a promise as a brand and the owners at Labrador have shown for years they are not going to uphold the values of the McDonald's Corporation and nothing is being done regardless of what the customers and locals are saying. I can't imagine what other people have delt with if this is my experience. I've learnt the hard way, just go to ferry road, you don't even have to ask them for your food fresh cause they just do their jobs...
Read moreQuite ridiculous how blind customers are when they complain about the smallest things. If you don’t want to wait for your food, make it yourself. When you see only 3 crew working, they are clearly understaffed. Especially at nights, they not only have to clean the whole store, including dining room, playground, front counter, kitchen, fridge, freezer, etc on top of all the delivery orders, kiosk orders, drive thru orders, online orders, etc, as well as picking up the slack of the day crew not doing their jobs, including stock, preparations, cleaning dishes, changing oil, maintain and clean equipment, including fry holders, grills, bun toasters, and the list goes on. Please complain to head office about the state of the staffing, as it seems like there isn’t even enough staff for service itself. Not to mention you are being served by 15 year olds, who are navigating through puberty. Yet you are complaining about getting the wrong sauce, or complaining that the tables aren’t clean because customers can’t clean up after themselves, or complaining about staff being ‘snappy’ when they deal with all this, or complaining about missing pickles, or complaining about waiting a few mins for your order to be taken in the drive thru, or complaining about there being no staff to have a chit chat with you, or complaining about the stains in the bathrooms because someone decided to go nuclear bomb the toilet, or complaining about missing a cheeseburger in your $100 order.
