A restaurant and cafe that doesn't rank for gluten free when they have a dedicated gluten free kitchen...what?!? Anyways their food was delicious. Didn't matter which mean we chose we had from the cafe we also had some stuff from the fish market they were all good. Highlight for me was your tiramisu baked cake I was both gluten and dairy free. You wouldn't believe it was gf and df. Services four stars because on the day that we were leaving I got take away and purchase sauce. Unfortunately the sauce did not make it into the takeaway bag and I also didn't check which was partially my fault. I did call up and they try to reverse the $2 charge however that couldn't be done. Also wasn't a way to email contact or do something about it I guess in the next year when we come up to the Gold coast we'll see if that they will still honour the $2. Sometimes I feel it's only $2 and other times I wonder well if I didn't want to have the sauce then I wouldn't have purchased it in the first place. This is by no means a reflection cuz they obviously have fantastic customer service. When we had lunch then every single waitress served with a smile. And a difference was that they were smiling even before they got to you. They just all seem very genuinely happy which is not the experience we've had and most other places. Couldn't recommend them enough.

The most horrible burgers of our lives. We specifically asked if the burgers came with lettuces and tomatoes and the cashier said yes. So we ordered 2 take aways. When we got home there was none, no lettuce or tomatoes! The beef paddies were tiny. The tomato sauce was disgusting, the bun was super stale, tough, and ripped, and one of the beef paddies was undercooked. There were 2 tables of customers in the place when we placed our order and it still took an half an hour to get our food. The person taking our order asked if we wanted any sauce. Thinking the burgers didn't come with any, I said, tomato sauce for one and mayo for the other. To my horror, it was $2 extra for the tomato sauce and $3 for mayo!!! They also charged $0.50 for chicken salt. So condiments alone was $5.50. So the $13 per burgers turned into $38.50 with the chicken salt and sauces. I may have stomached it if the burgers were good, but they weren't. They were horrible. My wife ate 1/2 and I took a few bites and threw out the rest. Absolutely disgusting!!! AVOID THIS PLACE. It's a complete train wreck!

One of the best fish and chips food we’ve ever had. It was well cooked, quality food that all had a great crispy/crunchy bite, and the portion you get feels great for value. Chips were perfection. Good serving of sauce. My partner and I ordered an Urban Catch each — probably 70-80% of it filled me and it was the right amount for my partner, but in hindsight we would’ve been happy to share one serving of Urban Catch as the portions were generous, and could’ve had an ice cream or something afterwards. If you get crumbed fish, it was a good unique, new crumb we hadn’t had before, and the home-made potato scallops were great and crispy. Two different workers checked on us each to see how our meals were, so that was nice service. We were there on a sunny Saturday lunch and it wasn’t too busy which we appreciated, and food came out relatively quick.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Urban Fish Market, a charming little fish restaurant and cafe. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the cozy ambiance and inviting atmosphere. The decor exudes a nautical charm that perfectly complements the restaurant's focus on seafood.

The standout feature of Urban Fish Market, however, was undoubtedly the staff. The level of service I received was truly exceptional. The staff members were not only attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, but they also went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Their passion for seafood and their dedication to creating a memorable dining experience was palpable.

Speaking of the menu, the selection of fish dishes was impressive. From classic fish and chips to more exotic seafood offerings, there was something for every palate. I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness and quality of the ingredients used in each dish. It's clear that Urban Fish Market takes great pride in sourcing the best seafood available.

The cafe section added another dimension to the experience. After a satisfying meal, I enjoyed a cup of their rich and aromatic coffee, which provided the perfect ending to my visit.

Overall, Urban Fish Market is a hidden gem that I'm glad I discovered. If you're a seafood lover or simply looking for a delightful dining experience with exceptional staff, I wholeheartedly recommend paying a visit to this charming...

A very awkward experience. Food fine, service dismal.

Went here as a first timer with the grandkids specifically on a recommendation.

The main meal arrived minus the kids meals, so we all started eating. Next minute, the server brings out two more plates which aren't the kids meals. We say, they aren't ours. Soon, we have a staff member leaning over our table telling us that there has been a mixup and that we have the wrong meal. In fact, what they gave us was a two person version of the single person version we ordered for the two adults to share.

Rather than apologise for their own mistake, this person hinted that it was our problem. Apparently, I'm supposed to be able to recognise the difference between two similar meals on their menu by sight and by name. Remember, I've never been here before. Some fuss in the background while they decide whether to take the partially eaten food away and replace it with the correct menu item or ask us to pay for the more expensive version which is on the table. Meanwhile, the eight year old grandson is getting concerned that the problem means he isn't getting any meal at all.

I just kept eating the food on the table that was provided before it went cold.

Eventually, they came back to say that we could keep the meal on the table and delivered the kids meals as ordered.

I wouldn't go back in a...
