Village Bean coffee shop — Restaurant in Gold Coast City

I had been happy to find reasonably priced drinks here, though this was my first time trying their coffee. I ordered two frappes with coffee, but there didn’t seem to be any coffee in them. I politely mentioned this to the barista, but she kept insisting it was correct without really addressing my concern. I showed the receipt to clarify that I had requested a coffee shot. Thankfully, the gentleman who prepared the drinks kindly offered to add an espresso shot, which I appreciated—I wasn’t asking for a full remake, just a simple fix.

However, the interaction felt a bit uncomfortable, as the female barista seemed to be murmuring something and rolling her eyes, which didn’t feel professional. I also found the caramel syrup had a slightly artificial taste. While the prices are affordable, I now understand why. I’d be more than happy to pay a little more for a better quality drink and a more welcoming customer service experience.

By far and away, without a shadow of a doubt, the worst so-called coffee "frappe" ive ever had in my 53 years. Had zero ice and zero ice cream.
