We were on a weekend getaway at surfers and looking for a decent asian restaurant and found their menus looking delish. When we decided what to eat and ordered our meals the guy at the counter/waiter advised us there would be a 35 minutes waiting as they were fully booked and we agreed to wait. While waiting we notice some customers who ordered after us already had their orders and I looked on my watch to make sure to ask one of the waiter/waitress once the waiting period was over and the first dish came ordered by my daughter. We thought our orders would be coming out soon. My daughter Almost finished her meal (90% finished) and our meals still had not arrived. I asked the waitress how come we haven’t have our orders and just after that my order arrived and yet my husband order is still another 10 minutes to wait as the waitress advised. I asked how come others had their order before us even we ordered before them. She made the excuse that they had some issues at the kitchen and admitted it was their fault. I told them we waited more than 40 minutes for 1st dish to arrived and another 10 minutes for the second dish and another extra 10 minutes for the 3rd dish was unacceptable. We wasted our time waiting for almost an hour and only my daughter was able to eat. As I’m about to talk to the counter and make complaints the waitress handed me back our money and said we are sorry about what happened and refunding the money we paid. I’m hesitant to accept the refund and mentioned i don’t mind paying off for my daughter dish as she ate it (though we waited 40mins. before it arrives) but the waitress insisted that they would give a full refund for what happened. The second dish arrived but my husband dish was still on wait. As we both decided not to wait and eat the dish they just served we just left and took our money back as we don’t want to wait to eat a free dish feeling upset for what just happened. So service is really slow and frustrating but atleast they admitted their fault and initiated to refund our money. So I can only rate their service...

I never do any reviews.. But this one made me real mad.

Just ordered take away tonight from here. Terrible service, the cashier girl who took my order was checking on her iphone all the time, I paid with tapping my card, first time she said it is decline, so I tried again... It works.... she didn't even said thank you or eye contact to me. I stood there for seconds and looked at her and asked "is that done? " then she put up her head look at me said yes then eyes back to her phone.... Didn't even ask me if I want the receipt, or giving me any order numbers ticket.. Nothing...... Fine!! I walk outside their store, standing next to their door wait for my food... After 15-20 minutes, I saw they gave a man a bag of food , but he ordered after me... She took the order number paper from the man and checked, then hand the bag to him... The man took the bag and check inside, it was not what he ordered, so he returned to the store ask about it, I saw it, so I walked inside see if thats mine, then the cashier girl just holding that bag and asked me "is this one yours? " so unprofessional!!! That's not end yet! My home just 3minutes walk, once I back home I took the food out of the bag, I knew it will not be good. I ordered won't on noodle soup, they freaking put noodle and soup together.. This is a very first and only time I had problem with take away noodle... The noodle was super soggy, I can't even eat that. Just disgusting!!! I always order noodle soup from different restaurant, it never happen before. They always smart enough to separate the noodle and soup in different containers ! This is the...

The person serving us was a bit rude. My family and I all had their lunch special, which was a meal and a drink. Everyone got a 375ml can of cold drink and I got a 300ml bottle of Coke. I asked if I could please have a can of Coke instead (which they had). She said no, that’s what you get.

When I questioned why everyone else got a can and I didn’t and that it didn’t make sense that I got a smaller drink, she very rudely said of course it makes sense. She went on with her voice raised about it makes complete sense that I get a smaller drink and that even the food size was smaller because of the lunch special (which we all had). I then swapped for a Sprite and got a 375ml can!?

If we hadn’t already paid we would have walked out. The food was okay, my soup was actually quite good but we already had our backs up due to the incident. The restaurant was quite empty and some people even left after sitting down, maybe the service has something...

Finally popped in to try their noodles and Gyoza. Tables were greasy. Don't bother taking their plain water. We poured ourselves a cup and there was a layer of grease floating on the water. Terrible hygiene. Tomato Beef Noodle Tasted like sweet watery tomato soup. Its unlike an asian tomato soup base which is usually flavourful and savoury, worthy to be called a broth. Zero effort in making the soup stock. The consolation was that the noodles were not instant noodles and actual handmade(?) Noodles. Beef slices were done proper with some token greens in the bowl to make it look wholesome. Gyoza Don't waste your time with this calorie waster. Its a frozen gyoza. Not sure if they made it. But the fillings were that of a 5 cent coin. Tasted stale. Visit the stall opposite for some handmade gyoza made daily.

Prepare to be surprised.. Hidden away in a food laneway this is a Gem waiting to be uncovered. Efficient and friendly service with the appropriate attention paid to Covid protocol this ubiquitous establishment has some of the best Chinese food in Surfers Paradise at a price that will be a pleasant surprise to your wallet. The menu is extensive and delivered within 5 to 7 minutes of ordering though they were moderately busy at the time of my visit. The presentation is immaculate with the serving size being on the large size with authentic flavours and extra spice available upon request. Well worth the visit if you are seeking a large meal at an extremely reasonable price for quality authentic Chinese cuisine.

I have to say i was disappointed with the food, ordered abour 80 dollars worth but the taste was bad, tried to be taiwanese beef brisket but the noodle wasn't right ( canton egg noodles) the soup was just plain chicken stock and stale veggies and the beef was bad too. The chicken noodle soup is like malasian fusion with egg noodles again and taste weird. I do not understand they tried to be canton with dumplings or Malaysian or taiwanese. But either way the taste is not right and not even fusion. One can be seen they dont put effort in the food or customer service. Won't be recommending it
