I recently had the pleasure of dining at Indian Culture, and it was an unforgettable experience that I can't wait to share! From the moment we stepped inside, we were welcomed by a warm and inviting ambiance, perfectly blending traditional Indian decor with modern elegance.

The service was outstanding—our server took the time to explain the menu and offer recommendations based on our preferences. We started with the Classic Chicken Tikka, which was a delightful introduction to the vibrant flavors of Indian cuisine. Each bite was a perfect mix of spices and textures, setting the stage for the rest of our meal.

For the main course, I opted for the Kerala Coconut curry, and it was simply exquisite. The rich flavors and aromatic spices transported me straight to India! My dining companion chose the Butter Chicken, and they were just as impressed by the quality and presentation.

To top off our meal, we couldn’t resist trying the Kulfi. It was a perfect blend of sweetness and lightness, beautifully presented and a fitting end to our culinary journey.

If you’re looking for an exceptional fine dining experience that celebrates the rich flavors of Indian cuisine, Indian Culture is a must-visit. Whether it's a special occasion or simply a night out, this restaurant offers a perfect blend of ambiance, service, and mouthwatering dishes. I highly...

Tried this Indian restaurant for Saturday lunch and thank God we did! This is a brand new restaurant which only opened on Wed 1st May 24. It was quiet with Salamanca Market running just outside, they have a sister restaurant in North Hobart by the same name which has been open for about two years. The owners were happy to answer questions regarding their new establishment. The food we had was beautifully presented and delicious. We shared a starter for the taste and to take the edge off our hunger. The main course was Delhi Butter Chicken with Basmati rice, it was the best Indian meal I have tasted in Tasmania, a very well spiced dish that was plentiful in rice and sauce. The chicken was very tasty and tender as you would expect from a well run kitchen. The Saturday lunch was quiet and that is the only reason I have given 4 stars but I can imagine with a full house this would be a fantastic place for a casual meal or a more formal evening Indian banquet We will definitely be back here as I cannot think of a more suitable and enjoyable venue for a winter spicy feast. All spices are variable as to desire of customer and start off mild unless you ask...

My wife and I were wondering around Salamanca looking for somewhere for lunch. Just passed the 183 sculpture (btw that's a great trail) not quite as far as Runnymede St we spotted a new restaurant: Indian Culture Salamanca and we're so glad we did. Lovely food! Very happy with the value! Fantastic service! (Thank you Pooja for your warm welcome and attentiveness) We will definitely go back and we have already recommended it to family and friends. You must try Balls of Happiness! (crispy balls filled with potato, chickpeas, yoghurt, tamarind and mint ) we had this starter to share - wish I had gone solo. They were amazing. My main was mixed veggie korma and I was asked how spicey I wanted my meal - not had that option before; a great innovation. I chose 'medium' and it was a little less spicey than my go to Indian which is veggie Rogan Josh. One suggestion: for dinner I'm happy to have a pint or two with my meal but at lunchtime I would like the option of a can (preferably Boag's draught!) A great meal and a well deserved 5 stars. Will...

Its was my birthday dinner of choice, we have experienced Indian Culture Restaurant in Nth Hobart before ( they are famous for having the best butter chicken in Tasmania ) the Indian Culture in Salamanca is a new venture they had only been open for a week you wouldn’t of known till they mentioned it and it was magnificent, they have a new menu, which was really easy to understand, wonderful flavours, the staff were very professional and helpful. The decor was authentic warm and definitely inviting. The Chef Pooja ( i think thats how you pronounce her name ) went that extra mile as my wife must have mentioned it was my birthday she made me a chocolate brownie with my name in chocolate sauce ! It was totally a lovely touch and not expected.🙏 if you are looking for that warm friendly Indian experience then you cannot go past “Indian Culture “ in Salamanca 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was excellent ! Very flavourful as expected. I was full but still wanted to eat more because of how delicious it was. We did have a bit of trouble with finding the restaurant because last time we saw it, it was in North hobart and was not aware they changed it. The restaurant for North hobart was still up on Google, so we went to the wrong place. We had to call them to ask. The restaurant was nice and big, and the toilets were decent, but one thing that really made it a not so good experience is that the tablecloths didn't smell clean. It had a sweaty scent to it, which came and went throughout the dinner. Other than that, the food was excellent.
