Huzzah, what a find! We've lived in Hobart for several years and have been pining for a bisto... well, problem solved. Two of us went last night however I hadn't twigged that it was French leaning so of course everything is cooked in butter. Delicious... unless you're dairy intolerant! Not only did the chef come to the table to discuss the menu, she actually made a fish sauce and an aioli to accompany the food we had ordered, and it was delicious! It was so refreshing to be treated like a person and not an inconvenience. The waiters are personable without being in your face and the place is modern, comfortable and cute. Matcha cloud was a combination of coconut water and matcha - extremely refreshing.
Prawn toast - perfectly baked which is paired well with the gochujang sauce. Paired my second serving with the apple slaw which gave it a nice twist.
Beef tartare - first time trying beef tartare served on a youtiao (Chinese donut). Surprisingly good combo and really fresh beef

Went twice so far. Once the first Saturday on their opening week, and again the week after. Foods are great, and sold out quickly. We came slightly after 10am the first time and they have sold out on croissants!
