Huskisson Ice Cream Parlour — Restaurant in Huskisson

Visited in May 2023 with my young daughters & wife, The young man that was working there was serving a customer, we stood there for about 5 minutes, he never even looked at us once, made my whole family feel unwelcome in the store, I then stood near the donut machine for another 5mins, still no greeting or acknowledgment of existence by the worker, I then politely indicated that I would like 6 donuts so that he could at least get the ball rolling while we continued to wait…. He still completely ignored me, I then thought in my mind WOW…. And continued to still stand there feeling invisible, then he announced to a lady who was waiting outside that her order was ready, he then spoke to me for the first time all whilst making no eye contact but I heard him demand that I move out of the way, he then repeated himself straight away making me feel like I must just be not wanted there at all, I then had enough after close to 15min and told my family let’s leave… my little daughter just wanted a donut & this place was a complete failure of our expectations and I would not recommend anyone visit this store after seeing first hand of how they treat their potential customers… a friend who is a local told me that I should inform the owner of my bad experience although if this shops owner actually cares about their store then they should be reading their...

Young girl was very rude Whilst I was looking at the ice cream flavours I was yelled at and told that "next time I have to enter through the other door, not the one I came through!" even though there was no line. There was only a couple there that was already being served and I was next. NO WE WONT WALK IN A CIRCLE TO STAND IN THE SAME SPOT TO LOOK AT THE SAME ICECREAM. These young people obviously don't have any support from whoever their boss is on how to even speak to customers. Needless to say I once again didn't buy any icecream. I only get to come to Huskisson twice a year and this also happen to me last time. It's just easier to just buy a pre-packaged ice cream, unless you want to be yelled at and have someone be rude to you on your holiday.. then come here. I can clearly see why there is no line of people here on a 35 degree day. They shouldn't be trying to nitpick at the only 3 customers that they have in...

Went in today at 5pm with my partner, as soon as we walked in we saw 4 staff 3 young girls and a young boy all standing next to eachother having a private chat and all completely stared at us and gave us dirty looks and kept taking then as we were looking I was being looked up and down by the girls and they were laughing at me. The boy seemed to be quiet and separated from the girls however I still believe a hello or how are you would be common decency when a customer walks into your store, as well as not receiving a goodbye just laughing and dirty looks on our way out. Also curious to know why the only staff working there seemed to be about 15 years old?
