It’s terrible place and experience I have been all around Australia and having Chinese authentic tastes this is defiantly not it externally overpriced, and the quantity and quality to the price is not matched we ordered 2 specials fried rice veg spring roll satay chicken and honey chicken over $120 total really small amounts and from personal experience terrible taste & the quantity of service just absolutely terrible such a shame been one of the only local ones you would think that more effort would be put into it we noticed when we walked walked in a young girl was taking the others over the phone love girl but the manager or ow we was in the. Background of the call was controlling the orders kind of shady if you ask me the authentic way is to be real and dealing with the person been charge and running the business don’t come here from my experience We only had a taste of the satay chicken and sent it back yet they still wanted to charge us for it only after we questioned and requested it to be removed from the bill still yet still paid $91 cash The honey chicken was almost $30 still paid for the amount that was served which was minimal the flavours where there but not not quantity. Don’t come here for a Chinese exprenice like I mentioned earlier we have been all around Australia and other countries this is by far the worse experience.

One of the best Chinese I have had for years! We ordered sweet and sour pork and fried beans with pork mince. The sweet and sour pork was very authentic. It has just enough batter to keep the crunch and you could still have big chunk of pork. The sauce is not just sweetened tomato sauce. They use proper Chinese vinegar to make it. This is what you would get in a good Chinese restaurant in China. The fried beans with pork mince was very fresh. The beans were cooked to perfection and they were crunchy and sweet. With just a bit of pork mince and garlic. The dish wasn't too salty either. We were both physically and emotionally satisfied. The price wasn't cheap but not expensive given the flood and inflation of things recently. The service was good and the way they served customers was very reasonable as we observed how they interact with others as well. Would definitely come back. It's a shame that we are leaving tomorrow, otherwise would come back to try their Mongolian lamb.

James kitchen has seating indoors and out. You are warmly welcomed by a staff; the restaurant is a family run business. Staff are happy to suggest and recommend dishes that complement each other. The menu is relatively simple though surprisingly tasty. Dumplings appear home made and fresh. The combo crispy chow mein has a good blend of textures and flavours - crunchy noodles with tender prawns, beef and chicken. There is a chef's menu available as well. Servings are good and won't leave you hungry. Parking is along the street in front of the restaurant.

Worst experience ever. These owners don't know how to manage a half busy restaurant, I wonder how bad it would be if it was full. We had to wait 30 mins to place our order. A table next to us which arrived after us knew the owner and their Peking duck order (which looked like it was steaming from having been microwaved) along with the rest of their food arrived whilst we continued to wait. We were told if we ordered a fried entree, we could have some food sooner. So we ordered 2 entrees along with 3 main dishes. We waited another 30mins for the short soup to arrive. The wontons were undercooked and the soup had a lot of MSG. We ended up walking out as when we questioned when our order would be ready after an hour of waiting after we placed our order, we were told that our spring roll entree was being cooked. Which meant another half hour until our mains...
