Go Sing Chinese Delivery — Restaurant in Ipswich City

Have you ever closed your eyes and pictured your idea of hell? Well… After eating the food here. I can honestly say without any jest that eating at Go Sing will most assuredly be my version of hell for the foreseeable future.

Now let’s get the positives out of the way: The food was out quickly.

It’s a shame however that the food tasted about a week old. The rice in particular had the texture of rubber and the sweet and sour pork was tougher than a leather boot. Quite frankly I’ve had better Asian food at the local food court and at least the food there is fresher than the disgusting excuse for food they charge far too much for at this establishment. If that wasn’t bad enough, the place stank and honestly was so gloomy and depressing I would forgive anyone for thinking they just stumbled onto the set of a low budget horror film.

Anyway give my compliments to the microwave out the back because he seems like he works a lot back there and I think it’s only fair you gave Chef Mike a pay raise. I would have given this place zero stars but apparently one star is as low as I’m...

The spring rolls tasted disgusting. They were burnt to the point of black on one end. Not sure the filling but it was the worst i have ever tasted. Could not finish it. The sweet an sour pork had a texture of sitting there all day since lunch time. The fried coating was all soft and soggy and the sauce tasted sour due to age, not sour seasonings. The beef in the black bean was chewy and dry.... literally inedible. The Chicken and cashews had a really terrible sauce which was mostly corn flour.

Prior to getting home , my husband went back as they offered NO complimentary prawn crackers. They would not give him any as it was $2.50 and they would not accept orders under $10. We had just spent over $40!!!! Stingy...so he had to come back to the car and scrounge around for enough to pay for a bag that others include in much cheaper specials.

Will never ever go back and would highly recommend you...

I ordered through Menulog, my order didn't turn up. I phoned the restaurant and spoke to a very rude man, he told me that they come to the door and noone answered. I work in disability and I do active overnight awake shifts, if someone turned up I'd definitely have known as the front light is on and the door is open. I was told by the restaurant that I was basically not being honest and he then had the audacity to phone me back to argue more. Disgraceful and very poor customer service. I will not order at this restaurant again, I don't need to be abused because they can't find an address.
