Would give 0 stars if could. Went here for birthday breakfast husband ordered the stack, he could smell it was not right soon as put it on table. Got me to smell the haloumi it and it was definetely off. Told them and they said it would make another declined as felt sick. Brought me out an unopened haloumi to show it was in date but not sure why as it was not the one they used. Went back to kitchen didn't even offer a refund. Customer service also 0 stars.
Edit: Told full story. Same batch what a crock was not even opened so was not one used for meal.(.why didnt you bring out that you served us if you had nothing to hide?). Who wants to eat a meal after you feel sick from rotten food it smelt rank as soon as it hit the table (did you want to cook the rest of the rotten haloumi to get rid od it?). Maybe you might change when someone gets sick from your food. Learn customer service and try not to poison anyone. Anyone who thinks about going here don't. Customer service shows in what you write to bad reviews ...here is a tip dont serve rotten food, have better customer service and you won't get bad reviews. Maybe the 50 bucks we spent on breakfast we couldn't eat you can buy fresh food. Also didnt get the chorizo we paid extra for.
Go to the retro diner if you want food that was obviously around in the 60s as it...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis was a disappointing visit after reading a lot of good reviews here and in Weekend Notes. We went there today. Very quiet with only three people at another table who had already been served. There were three staff and as we hadnāt been there before, we paid them the courtesy of waiting at the door so they could seat us. They kept on saying ābe with you in a minuteā but after standing there for at least 5 minutes being ignored, we sat ourselves down. It seems they were all too busy unpacking the car to welcome new customers. Checked the menu and waited in vain for someone to take our order. Eventually, one of the staff who was doing something at the counter shouted out if we were ready to order after she noticed that I had looked over at her. We ordered burgers and after another long wait, the food eventually arrived. My husband ordered the chicken schnitzel burger which he said was okay and I ordered the Aussie burger. For a burger with so many ingredients on it, it really didnāt have much flavour. There was onion on it (I checked), but I couldnāt taste it. The chips were probably the best thing our plates. No atmosphere, no customer service and a very ordinary meal. I donāt know how they would cope if they were busy. My best advice - give this...

Absolutely by far, one of the best businesses I have experienced. Food was great, hot, fresh, decent sized. Hppy tummies all round. Great portion sizes. Tasty. Chips were best of both worlds, crunchy, and soft. I ordered with Uber, and was missing one of my items, so I contacted "The Retro Diner", they are so lovely to speak to, and without hesitation, they made my missing order and the boss drove out and delivered it to us, now that's, customer service and 100% satisfaction! The picture attached is 1(of 2) Hotdog meal deals(minus bacon add chicken) with milkshake. The chicken, was moist, succulent and not dried, two little tummies happy and full :-) The sauce was not like store bought, was more like home made, so tasty and full of flavour. We will definitely continue going here and/or ordering...
