At the ‘Paris’ end of Charles Street, Aromas is much loved by locals, cyclists, and the staff from Launceston General Hospital which is just across the road. I called in for an impromptu lunch with my two teenage kids, a rare and enjoyable date these days. We all found something we wanted to eat. My mixed salads were delicious, with a tangy dressing (my son suggested the ‘after’ shot to show just how good), the coffee is dependably superb, the range of lunch options top notch, the ambience jolly, the tables clean. There’s takeaway too, a quieter back room, pretty good loos, and pavement seating if you don’t mind a bit of passing traffic. Dependable, delicious and highly recommended. Apple Island Wife.

I've visited this Cafe a few times during my trip to Tasmania and I can safely say that this place was amazing. It always feels cosy and welcoming inside, there's a certain aesthetic to how the place feels within. The staff were always lovely to us and serviced us with care. The food was so delicious, wide range of egg related dishes. The toasts were huge and the bacon was crispy. I've never been so satisfied with a Cafe before. Loved it.

I have always experience a great meal and get iced coffees for my husband regularly. I recently tried one of there banana and peanut butter smoothies and The dairy-free mixed berry freeze is great for warmer days. Fresh selection always on display in the cabinet. I loved the quinoa salad made with fresh ingredients and roasted vegetables.

I am a Coeliac, not gluten free because I choose to be. I have been into this store 3 times in the last 3 months and on every occasion I have mentioned to the staff behind the counter about the GF salads being on the bottom of the showcase below all "normal" foods and the cross contamination aspects. On this occasion ,one of the staff members who i complained too said she had spoken to one of the chefs previously, and still nothing has been done. Maybe the chefs should have Coeliacs disease and then know just how unwell you can be, vomiting, diarrhoea, pains in your stomach, fever, sweats all at once, its not very nice I assure you when you eat gluten.. While I was waiting for my GF meal to be heated, I observed a young girl with gloves on touching normal food , touching her face then touching the baking paper which she lifted the lid then put the paper on top of my meal. Please give your staff some education on handling and storage of Gluten Free food. Your food is amazing but I want eat anything that isn't covered. What happens in the preparation of your food that...

Highly recommended and yet the most bland eggs on toast I've ever had. If you could buy microwave/meal kit eggs on toast, this would have been what it looked and tasted like. Poached eggs were runny (good) but small and somehow dry (work that one out). The toast would have been amazing had it been buttered or provided with condiments of any sort. It was exactly as described but I've had plenty of eggs on toast that didn't leave me disappointed so who knows. My hot chocolate was very good.

Venue was great and very popular so the coffee must be amazing. Staff were friendly....
