đż A Hidden Gem in Launceston â Parla CafĂ© đż âïžâïžâïžâïžâïž
Anita and I had the pleasure of dining at Parla again this afternoon, and once more, theyâve proven why they remain one of Launcestonâs finest. This rustic cafĂ© blends charm, consistency, and care in a way that is all too rare in Tasmania.
The standout? Everything. From the brisket burger layered with melt-in-your-mouth goodness, topped with crisp onion rings and paired with golden beer-battered chips, to Anitaâs vibrant halloumi dish with fresh greens, radish, and a delightful beetroot relish â every bite was made with thought and heart.
Coffee, too, is no afterthought here. My triple-shot cappuccino hit the mark perfectly, and Anitaâs single-shot soy latte was smooth and satisfying.
But what truly elevates Parla is the exceptional hospitality. Andy and Alan clearly cook and serve with love. Their commitment to quality, consistency, and genuine warmth makes every visit feel like home.
At HomeOnTamar, Anita and I are dedicated to high standards in hospitality and food management, and Parla matches those standards with pride and grace. Itâs a place we will continue to support and recommend wholeheartedly.
Thank you, Parla team â youâve created something special. â Michael...
Read moreI come here a lot. Itâs close for me, but aside from that, they have excellent coffee and the atmosphere is great - cool but approachable and laid back. Just what you want when you need a moment to yourself with a good coffee to enjoy!
Although I have not eaten a great deal here, what I have had was really surprisingly good. Iâm not fussed on arancini but theirs were delicious and light. Their toasties exceptional and their baked goods (many still on my list to try) are just yum.
They make really good shortbread and Scottish tablet (youâll have to find out!)
This looks like a derelict building, which actually gives it still so much more character⊠itâs charming and rustic interior, however, lets you relax in a way that more modern, sterile places donât.
Their coffee is what I keep returning for however, because it virtually down the line gives me those aaaaaah moments, not the proximity!
This is really a special little cafe for anyone to convene or take that special moment for yourself...
Read moreCouldnât decide where to go for lunch and the hubby was borderline âHangryâ. Weâve driven past Parla multiple times and have always said we would check it out, especially for the pizza⊠so finally, today was the day! We had just missed out on trying their wood fire pizza, so we decided just to stay for coffee. I ordered my standard coffee that I order at any cafe I go to⊠a Mocha. Andy steamed the milk to perfection! Great crema, smooth body, pretty latte art and perfect drinkable temperature. We were then informed they had a couple new items on the menu... Buttermilk chicken with salad and Arancini balls. SautĂ©ed mushroom, rice and parmesan cheese in a deep fried ball? Say no more! Oh my god⊠they were amaze-balls! 100% coming back for those. The staff are lovely, the place has a chilled vibe, the food is unique and super tasty. Our son loved it, so that's a win for us. Highly...
