Brady's Tavern at Penny Royal — Restaurant in Launceston

Only a 4 out of 5... didn't feel for the price we got looked after enough. Food brought to the table... but we had to go in and out to collect our own plates and cutlery etc... Booked a table for 8 thru their website... turned up and didn't know about it. Ordered a Cabernet Merlot bottle of wine and got given Pinot Noir... they did change it over! Food was nice though. Lamb share platter was yum, definitely would order again. Bbq chicken pizza is worth buying again... supreme one has lots of Olives. The cheese and crackers share platter.... personally I think u need to add more biscuits... there were pastes and meats left over with nothing to...

Every now and then, you get a suprise in life. I was so thrilled to get my mind blown with the suprise gifted to me by Brady's.

The Lamb platter = delicious. The creamy mushroom pasta = delicious.

When I added the fall apart Lamb, with the creamy mushroom pasta and a couple of the olives, that came with the platter salad, OMFG!! That was the best taste I've ever had in my mouth, ever! I am now left dreaming still of that flavour, so is my partner. The waitress was perfect also. I want to move to Launceston now, as Hobart just doesn't deliver such quality meals as this. My Wife and I got to visit Brady's Tavern while I was on business travel at Launceston Airport. We only had a couple days to enjoy exploring the area. We stumbled upon Penny Royal and were greeted by the friendliest staff ever, at Brady's Tavern. The owners were so nice, and proud to tell us about the area and learn about our background.
