双喜牛肉面-火锅鸡 Double Happy Noodle & Dumplings — Restaurant in Logan City

Entering the restaurant we were greeted with an amazing server he explained how both menus worked from the shares menu and individual menu.

We did not have to wait long for our spicy chicken and ribs hot pot to come out. The atmosphere had a calm soothing vibe very clean and very relaxing with no one rushing you.

Found out about this place on TikTok, arriving and trying out their hot pot they delivered up to their hype. Spent $120 with 3kg meat with unlimited vegetables fruits rice and sauces.

Quality 10/10 Quantity 10/10

I highly recommend Double Happy for families who want some authentic Sichuan hot pot, they have other broth for those to still enjoy a warming hot pot. Or friends who are looking for a spot to catch up after work with friends or coworkers.

I strongly recommend that the owner enhance both their customer service and booking system, as similar feedback has been noted in past reviews as well. We arrived around 7 PM and were told we’d get the next available table for six. Checking with the staff member at the counter multiple times after 7:45 PM, we were reassured we’d be seated next. However, around 8:15 PM, we saw another group was going to be seated at the table we were told would be ours. When we inquired, the staff said it was reserved and became defensive rather than apologetic. We pointed out that if there was a reservation, we should have been informed earlier so we would not await for more than 1 hours, especially since we knew the restaurant closed at 9 PM. It was odd that a table was booked after 8:15 PM when the restaurant was closing soon at 9pm, and that group hadn’t even begun their meal by 8:20 PM. Later, staff claimed they never confirmed we would be seated next, which is unreasonable given we were waiting with two young children. We would not await after 19:45 knowing there was a reservation before us to leave the kids hungry. Additionally, the owner should improve their approach to receiving feedback. The response felt dismissive, as if they acknowledged our concerns but refused to apologize, citing busyness as an excuse. If the restaurant cannot accommodate the number of bookings, they should avoid overbooking. If the restaurant can’t ensure reasonable waiting time for a table for people walk in, please communicate earlier. Just honestly tell customer the waiting time maybe more than 1.5 hours, instead of reassurance of being seated next. You are not the only restaurant at that area, costumers can choose to dine in another restaurants instead of being upset by your attitudes and flawed booking/ waiting system after 1.5 hours waiting.

晚上七点钟去，说下一桌6人座就是我们。等到7:45 左右再去确认因为带了两个小孩，所以想要再等很久的话就走了，收银台的服务员还是说下一桌马上就到了。结果等到8:15桌子清空另一个服务员说这个桌子是预定给别人的。去和老板反馈为什么之前不说前面还有一桌预定。如果早点告知我们就不会等了。老板见自己没道理就否认员工说之前确认下一桌就是我们和没有告知前面有一桌预定。中间完全没有道歉的意思。我就是想问下谁会在知道饭店09:00关门的情况下预定08:15的桌。就算08:15前真的有预定，9:00关门的情况下让预定的人08:20还没吃到饭，在这种情况下还让没有预定的顾客等桌，这是什么奇葩的服务。老板对于顾客的意见也是我听到了但是我没错因为我们很忙。前面有评论提醒这家店要预定。只想说预定和不预定是一样的，...

How this place has so many "5 star" reviews from 1 review posters boggles the mind!!!

We ordered the 3 person hotpot "buffet" with unlimited vegetables, & they wanted to charge us extra because we had 4 people at the table(outside), we said we're ordering fried chicken from the shop opposite.

They refused to give us a: any hotpot(soup) until we'd eaten some of the food on top & b: vegetables until(you guessed it) we'd eaten the top layer of food!

Tables were RIDICULOUSLY WOBBLY/UNSTABLE(UNSAFE WITH YOUNG KIDS AT THE TABLE!) We ended up walking out(after our $100 odd spend) & would never recommend or eat at this place again! The food was...
