Banh Mi Hoi An is hands-down one of the best places to grab an authentic and delicious banh mi in Melbourne. Easily the best banh mi place on Bridge Rd. I particularly love the french baguette roll, it's slightly different from your regular fat roll - longer and crunchier so extra fillings. Enough roll and filling here to leave you satisifed.

They don't mess around with dumb variations like some other places attempting to mix it up (i.e. chicken sausage, fish 😒) keeping it original and perfect as should be.

Love that they use Vietnamese mint along with coriander and mint (Vietnamese mint not always common on a banh mi but should be). Fresh zesty salad and extra crispy pork, doing the simple things well makes this banh mi joint the best on Bridge Rd.

The spring rolls are something else, too, and are not to be missed. Full of flavour and great with the dipping sauce.

I have found my favourite bahn mi place! I've tried many spots but this one stands out! The service was great, very friendly, and each bahn mi was made with genuine care. The hand painted walls are warm and inviting. I just loved the whole feel of the place. Got the crispy pork bahn mi and... my goodness the flavours were amazing! The homemade pate brought all the flavours together and the pork was so yummy and nicely seasoned. Such wholesome deliciousness! Also they use longer baguettes than other places and they are warmed right before serving. Loved everything about this place! Will definitely be coming back.
