If i could give this place 0 stars i would, i don’t normally give reviews but after leaving this place i felt like i had to. I don’t even know where to start — The man at the front (apparently the manager, which is honestly terrifying) was the single rudest person I’ve ever encountered in a customer-facing job. From the moment I walked in, he had this smug, condescending attitude like he was doing me a favour by even acknowledging my existence.
He didn’t smile. He didn’t greet me. He just stood there like I was interrupting his day. I asked a simple question about the menu, and he looked at me like I had asked him to hand over a kidney. I don’t know who trained this man, but he clearly thinks “hospitality” means hostility.
Then when it comes to the kitchen, there was a woman who sounded french (nothing against that) but the whole time her and the "manager" were talking incredibly loud, being rude and judgy, and I felt uncomfortable with their conversation. Every time i looked over at the french woman she was on her phone, touching the food, and I was genuinely scared to eat what I was served. It was a clear health code violation, not hospitality. She was very unfriendly, looked like she was doing nothing in the back and making all the young workers do everything else. The younger workers were trying so hard, nothing against them but i honestly feel bad for them for having to put up with the french lady and the "manager". The whole restaurant was chaotic, dirty, and just gross. My burger was soggy. My fries were cold. My soul left my body somewhere between the awkward interactions and the mystery grease on the table.
Worst part? No apology. No care. Just blank stares and attitude. Never again.
Do better, Betty’s. You’ve lost a customer — and probably a few more after I tell everyone about...
Read morePlaced an order for the family from this place and when I brought the food home, I saw they left out the Deluxe burger which was also the most expensive. I called them and all they said was that I should come down whenever and they’ll give me a burger of my choice for free. That doesn’t nearly make up for the poor experience considering that I’d already paid for the most expensive burger, they merely told me my wasted money was now a down payment for when I go there next. Not even making an effort to at least rectify the mistakes of the children working there I now have to go back and pick up my food, I’ve now lost the $15 as these children didn’t even offer to deliver the missing burger. I had to drive down to this place and wait a long time just for them to get my order wrong? I’ve been made to feel like their doing me a favour by allowing me to come pick up the burger that I’ve already paid for, I find this extremely disappointing to say the least.
I hope head office would actually read these and rectify this instead of sending the generic reply seen in the...
Read moreWe visited with the family to try the newly opened Betty's Burgers. Interesting that there is no table service, you go to the order window, order and wait for the buzzer to then go an pick up the meal. I believe even at McDonald's they can bring it to the table these days...
The prices were very high, and public holiday has a 15% surcharge so it is very expensive for smash style burgers. The food itself, well don't order the chicken burger or the shroom burger. The buns were cold, and the cheese was still cold out of the fridge.
The portions were stingy. We worked out that the onion rings cost $1 per onion ring. We don't mind paying higher prices for good-sized servings, but at this price point a side of fries or onion rings should be included. We originally intended to have dessert there, but were so disappointed that we went elsewhere.
If you want fast food, stick to Maccas. If you want a proper burger, go anywhere...
