For several years I have been visiting Blahnik. Often alone for takeaway on a Friday and often with friends and partners. Always enjoyed the service, quality and selection of grub on offer and portion size. And yet, in recent times, there has been a change in these measures, with exclusively the younger members of staff. Smiles are plastic if even affected and portion size steadily decreases. With today showing as per the photo, an incredibly miserly rationing of meat and even vegetables, for close to $15. Now if reading this, please bear in mind that had I been served by one of the more established members of staff, the ever friendly blonde lady for example, I would not be writing this complaint. This was a serving from a teenager...Who has either been instructed to deliver miserly portions, or chooses to do so. Still, with such a brisk trade at large, why would the owners be in any way perturbed, for they would likely consider only the $$$ and not the pipsqueak moaning of a customer of several years who finally sighs too deeply and takes his steady trickle of gold elsewhere. And that is one of the troubles with our Society. Customer service is not just of little consequence to the younger generations who can make payment whilst swiping left and right on tinder! or fluffersunite! or bumblefumble! whatever the latest app is called without making a sound towards or eye contact with the checkout operator and this leads to similar connection offered from the other side, staff to customer...I am trying to outline that I understand there are mitigating factors at play, and perhaps I am just a little old before my time and have already become part Victor Meldrew or worse...Still, take my advice : Avoid the younger members of staff, aim for the established crew would would receive 5 stars, not the 1 as per this review, so its more a staff specific...

Is there something worse than 1 star on google? Worst ever experience in Melbourne so far. We had a team breakfast today & everyone placed order at the counter. Everyone's orders came through except 2 of us. After waiting for 30 mins i check at the counter & the lady instead of apologising & checking the status asks me if i want to cancel the order. Then she informs that my order was delivered to someone else!! On questioning her she states that she was not the one & it was someone else who did it..all this with no signs of been apologetic!! By this time everyone finished their food & it was time to leave so i cancelled the order. I had to followup for refund after which the lady walked over & handed over cash & again shamelessly without offering any apology foe what had happened. In short if you are wanting to start your morning on good note & deal with good respectful people...this is not the place. With this pathetically downtrodden customer service, am wondering how this places...
