It wasn’t planned at all .. my coffee craving kicked in and I just randomly stepped into this little cafĂ© near Royal Children’s Hospital. We didn’t order much, and we couldn’t stay long either, but I have to say that the short time we spent there left a lovely impression. The staff were smiling, kind, and genuinely welcoming. I think that makes all the difference. When the coffee is served with warmth, it just hits better. It’s not always about the perfect roast or the latte art — sometimes, it’s that quiet kindness in the atmosphere that stays with you. If you’re ever heading around that part of Melbourne, this spot is definitely worth pulling over for. Peaceful little corner, perfect for a quick recharge.

I just dropped by for take away coffee, but it turned out bad enough to ruin one’s morning. Barista & waitress were not friendly at all and didn’t give me any sign of welcoming. I was not there for bagging my coffee or walking on egg shells. I understand working in hospitality can be harsh, but you guys didn’t have to reflect that dark aura towards customers. Coffee? Of course not very professional as well. I would recommend this place as your very last option.

Such a great little café in Parkville! The service was lovely, the coffee impeccable and the quality of ingredients is second to none. It is worth going just for the date butter that comes with the banana bread! Loved their hand crafted, Melbourne made range of kombucha too. Delicious! The team are attentive and make sure you feel welcome to ask for what you need.

I really wanted to like Cafe Tesorina, but my experience was disappointing.

I ordered both a hot and an iced coffee and handed over my loyalty card, only to be told they "don’t stamp for iced drinks." At first I thought it was a joke - especially since the iced coffee was more expensive than the hot one. It felt unnecessarily stingy... On top of that, my piccolo was charged the same as the full-sized coffee with an extra shot, which to me was most unusual, as most places around the area price them a little lower.

The restroom situation was also frustrating. The main lock doesn’t work, and instead there’s some smudged masking tape instructing you to use the door handle lock. It’s very easy to miss, and I unfortunately learned this the hard way when someone opened the door. A clearer sign, or better yet fixing the lock, would avoid a very embarrassing situation.

All in all, not the ideal spot for me. In my view, other nearby cafes offer a warmer vibe, better value, and...

Great food, very enjoyable coffee. Alex provided great service, particularly accommodating for food intolerances and offered suitable alternatives to menu items that had ran out. Upon arriving, a magpie had flown into the store, my friends and I, along with another couple were unable to enter as one of the staff members (not Alex) rudely yelled out “GET AWAY FROM THE DOOR. MOVE!” twice. I can understand and appreciate the ‘urgency’ of trying to get a magpie out of the store, however I feel the way in which she approached this was highly inappropriate and almost deterred us from purchasing food at the store.

I would love to return, but would prefer not to be yelled out...
