Jaspresso — Restaurant in Melbourne

Fantastic place, absolutely deserves 5 stars and is a must eat.

I have really enjoyed eating at this place over the last few months since i found it, be it a nice Jaffle and coffee early in the morning or a tofu curry for lunch i have found that the the food is of excellent quality, they keep it simple but deliver on what they are trying to do, especially compared to places going for a similar vibe (ie don dons). Another must try is the baked goods seriously good value and quality while being vegan.

in terms of other things it has going for it are; the staff are really lovely, always friendly in an understated way, even throughout covid restrictions, and honestly the decor inside is nice as well, not over the top but also manages to feel comfortable and clean.

The only thing that i would love to have change about this place is if there was an effort to remove the throw away plastic from there take away options, would certainly encourage me to eat there more often.

besides that nothing to fault, have really enjoyed my experiences eating here its price is great as well, combined with the food quality it offers incredible value for what your paying.

One of the best lunch, quick, & pocket-friendly places in the area! I really loved the Tofu Don (rice) with Tartare / Teriyaki sauce 🤤 The tofu is usually very crispy — ps you can also opt for brown rice / soba!

The Don starts from $12, the proportion of meat/protein to the rice is reasonable, I always feel full & satisfied!

They are usually busy during lunch time, if you are coming for a team lunch, might worth giving them a call to reserve a table. And so far foods were ready within 5 mins, super quick despite how busy they are.

I’d give ambiance a 3/5 because it’s always busy and seems hectic. They also rely on natural lighting from outside, so sometimes it felt dark inside (+ many people, so hectic). But overall it’s still okay if you want to dine in.

They also sells coffee, pastries, cookies, and jaffles, I’ve heard good reviews about the Jaffle so will give it a try...

Jaspresso is a hidden gem in North Melbourne! It’s a cozy, welcoming spot that quickly became a favourite of mine. The katsu curry is absolutely delicious — perfectly crispy cutlet, rich and comforting curry sauce, and a generous portion that always hits the spot. I also loved their matcha latte — smooth, earthy, and perfectly balanced without being too sweet. One of the best I've had in Melbourne.

The service is consistently quick and genuinely friendly, and the relaxed atmosphere makes it a great place to unwind or catch up over a meal.
