TOTAL RIP OFF.! Or unreliable, untrained or dishonest staff. 2 weeks ago, we were visiting Melbourne. For our second-last night's dinner, we ordered through menulog & paid for a burrito, 200g sour cream & 200g guacamole. The order wasn't too expensive & arrived on time with the lovely Mi. BUT When we got to our room the sour cream was 100g (if that!), not 200g, and there was no guacamole. I finally got through to the right store & the lady who answered apologised, said she 'had forgotten to put in the guacamole because of the complicated order' & would we like to come & get it with a complimentary serve of corn chips (but to be quick because they'd be closing soon, I think). Obviously, if we wanted to walk that far after walking all day, we wouldn't have ordered menulog. So she suggested we come back the next day, Saturday, as they'd be open from 1 to 5. Since we had a 4 o'clock appointment & no other time to get there, we made it there about 1.30/2, to find the place locked & dark. Today, the store website(?) says they open at 4. Presumably she was wrong, or just wanted to get rid of me. SO we feel ripped off & annoyed. It isn't as though they can send a serve of guacamole to a Qld country town (especially since there's no Mexican food here), but I hope they don't expect our patronage if we're ever in Melbourne again. I'm sure there are...
Read moreThis is an okay / slightly sub-par place to eat for a quick bite.
I got a veg burrito & I’m vegan. There was no vegan cheese, Mayo, sour cream, or veg meats (unlike competitors) so it was pretty bland. The veg were also bland & watery, as was the rice (& I’m a fan of well cooked rice). I’d say it was for sure the worst burrito I’ve ever had. I’d rate the burrito alone a 0.75/5-star.
Redeeming factors - My non-vegan friend enjoyed hers for a quick bite, serving sizes are generous & the environment is happy & colourful.
The 1-star reviews here make sense though, so imo it’s a good idea imo to read them to avoid certain ordering decisions.
I wouldn’t eat here again but I can appreciate that it could be fine for some people (dependant on what you order & what you’re expecting) or for people without food intolerances or avoidances.

Read moreWho on earth puts cabbage in a burrito? This joint, apparently. How vile.
The burrito was so sloppy, it squirted all over me and literally ruined my pants. It also lacked any of the heretofore requested sour cream. It didn't even taste very good (filthy cabbage aside), certainly no better than anything you'd get from a "Mexican" chain restaurant.
The corn chips were cold, there wasn't any evidence of even attempted warming. I suspect they were scooped out of a bag and dumped into a cardboard box to be served to poor, unsuspecting customers in search of actual food, only to be faced with this attempted landfill.
I will most definitely not be coming back here, and I strongly recommend you don't bother either, unless you somehow un-ironically enjoy awful cousins of...
