Cancelled delivery order after accepting it and preparing it for 40mins. Had to miss lunch at work. Take yourselves offline if you you don't want to accept orders instead of wasting people's time. Looking at the other comments, the owner seems to have hired some questionable staff that cut corners, do not care about deliveries at all and treat the delivery guys like second class citizens. Luckily support offered a free voucher and placed a strike against their account.
EDIT: You can read the owner's response to this review and tell unprofessional they are. It explains all these complaints about rudeness. To the owner, your staff accepted the order and then cancelled it taking the restaurant offline as confirmed by the delivery platform support(which I have screenshots of). This is why they offered me a voucher and you got a strike on your account. This was during business hours in the cbd 2 weeks ago and there were PLENTY of riders, saying this was the reason is a blatant lie. The app and support tell you if it couldn't find a delivery rider.
Owners can also make false complaints to google and take down negative reviews, the latter of which I'm sure you've done based on your response and your boasting of the review ratio. 1/ I can’t believe that my first impress from Smuck Bagel was Bad Customer Service: the girl in red sweater with blonde hair who took my order her service so so bad, i just feel like she doesn’t love her job. She shown me her mad face without smile and took my order, i’m not even finish my order yet then she already wanna complete our order ??? Struggling to choose between sweet and savoury we made the unanimous decision to devour in a selection: 🥯 Morning Sunshine: pastrami & egg melted cheese, Dijon mustard and chilli mayo. The ratios where bang on and the do not scab on the pastrami 😍 🥯 Love You Lox: smoked salmon, creamy cream cheese, pickled red onions, cress, lemon in a rye bagel. A little bit too heavy on the cress, although it added a nice texture.
