What a successful day! First day EVER!!! Trying the Hot Jammy Donut store at Preston Market! 🤩

Today, I took my 3 young kids to the to the market and when they saw the donut van, their eyes just widened so fast that they kids were begging me to buy.

On the inside I was like please let them not be $33 dollars a box like the Victorian market, and they weren’t even close. What a win!!! A third of the price.

They loved the donuts SO much! What a win and success to own a stunning retro and POPULAR store. Nothing better than buying them on a beautiful day with the perfect weather.

Their staff is so lovely and easy to have a quick chat with. I had a special/ ‘weird’ order and they completed it without any issues. Such a bonus on how cheap the donuts are and hands down!!! So much better than the Vic markets due to the texture and price. 13 donuts for $11, ummm…. yes please.

Not even a dollar per donut, how could this not be cheaper.

While the flavour of the jam is undoubtedly important, the texture of the donut itself plays a crucial role in creating a truly delightful experience. Today I decided to get my 13 jam donut box, BUT I got half with no Jam, but with the sugar of course.

The dough is light and airy, creating a soft and fluffy texture that is reminiscent of biting into a cloud-like pastry. With a slight crispiness on the outside. Each bite was bursting with flavour and the donuts were beautifully glazed with sugar.

It was exceptionally rich in the colour and flavour, perfect golden outside and possibly even better without the Jam on the inside, personally.

I preferred the texture and flavour of the jammed donut when it was cold because when the donut is hot because our proteins in our taste buds that are extremely temperature-sensitive. Soooo basically the flavour is so much more heightened when the jam is cold.

So definelty do not stress if your donuts happen to come to you cold, as they taste so much better! So defienlty check the non-jam ones out. These donuts were truly a delightful treat that left me craving for more. Hands down, I’m definitely coming here everyday Sunday!

Sorry for my rant, but these ARE the BEST donuts I’ve ever had. I traveled to Canada and stumbled upon a tiny donut shop tucked away in a quiet street. I thought these were the best donuts I’ve ever had, especially since Canadians are literally obsessed with their donuts and are the most popular country to produce and eat them. I was proven wrong today. If only I could rate these donuts...

I used to buy donuts here often but have decided based on my last experience that these people no longer deserve my business. After recently arriving back from a trip overseas I had just finished my shopping and thought I'd stop by this place as I usually do to grab some donuts. I saw a new sign on the business which stated there is a 25% discount for cash payments. I reached into my bag and realized I used up all my AUD and only had BND with me and kindly asked the man taking orders if he would accept the equivalent of BND which would be more than what the cash value in AUD would be and I would be more than happy to make a card payment if the simple answer was no but instead I received a smart ass comment and negative body language which really turned me off. I've never had any issues in the past when I've had other currencies. Most businesses either accept depending on the currency or simply give a courteous no. Regardless of how good these donuts are, good customer service doesn't cost anything. My wife and I bought donuts for our kids every week we shopped here. We won't...

What place will sell you a delicious, made IN house dessert for less than a buck? Sadly these places are far and few between is the expensive Land Down Under, but there are a few places that stand out, one such place is Hot Jam Donuts in Preston Market, which has been here longer than I was probably alive, and it doesn't seem to be going anywhere as it routinely has a line and has recently gotten a new makeover. There are big windows letting you take a glimpse of the donut making process, and the dough is fresh, the jam is piped into it and EVERYTHING IS MADE FRESH AND IN HOUSE. I challenge you to find a donut made in house for this cheap, not to mention it is filled to the brim with jam, lovingly dusted with a gargantuan amount of sugar.no extra nothing was put into these donuts, they are some on finest jam donuts I...

Ordered the large pack of jam donuts. They always come through as being the best! I do think they may have changed hands. However, the donuts are still phenomenal! I think there may have also been a price increase, although that’s always annoying, I would still always come here for donuts. The donuts always have ample jam in them, plenty of sugar, and taste delicious for days. If you are attending the market I would suggest grabbing some to go! I also suggest getting there early as they do sell out, and the wait can be a bit long.

We asked for double jam and payed extra for it and got the normal small amount. Depending on who is working the standards owners go downhill. The oil they use is old and you can taste it. Just not happy with this experience. Compulsive liars aswell. I will post the receipt as proof for all to see. And they are arrogant and they laughed when I asked for extra jam they look at customers like they are scum. As you can see the 6 donuts cost a lot more than regular price. So who is the liar idiot.

Line up for 20 minutes, they choose 20 minutes early. 3 kids standing in line are shattered, pathetic. Came all the way from sunbury with the kids. Smug look on there faces.... You are right, that is life. And closing 45 minutes early because you sold out is bad business. There were 5 people infront of me and the kids, and we had been waiting 20 minutes, but I'm glad your workers were relieved they got to finish early.
