Rustic Bean — Restaurant in Melbourne

Rustic Bean is excellent all around. I've tried nearly all the breakfasts, and every one of them is satisfying. My favourite is Chili Scramble, and it has set the benchmark. No other venue can even match it, let alone surpass it.

Coffee is brilliant too.

Staff are friendly and courteous, adapting to the different needs of customers. The interaction isn't just one-size-fits-all, but the kindness is universally outstanding.

One of the best breakfast burgers I’ve ever had for a veryyyy reasonable price–bun is fluffy and soft, egg was runny (not overcooked), and generous rashers of bacon. I wish you could add hash browns as a side or in the burger, but not a huge dealbreaker. 🌽 Corn fritters with avo and poached eggs were well portioned and tasty. Fritters weren’t burnt or dry.
