Dropped in for lunch on a Friday and whilst deceivingly empty, we were pleasantly surprised at the food quality! We tried the mushroom arancinis, pork ragu pasta and seafood pasta and they were all absolutely delicious - pork ragu had a good chilli kick (so it's not one of those can't really taste much chilli even though it mentions chilli type), and seafood were fresh with flavourful sauce! Staff were pretty attentive too, they checked if everything was ok, but also later, I was just mentioning to my partner that they should've given us a bottle of water when both our glasses were empty and thirst started kicking in and I started looking around (without leaving my seat) for a self-serve water section, they didn't just come top up our glasses, they left a jug of water with us. Pricey but happy to pay for good food and service especially considering location. Ambiance was a bit of a drab though. Price guide (as of May 2025): Tagliolini Frutti Di Mare (seafood pasta) $42 Rigatoni Ragu Di Maiale (pork ragu pasta) $35 Arancini (3 pieces) $17

I LOVE THIS PLACE Note: I've been here multiple times 1. Customer service: I have never ever had a bad experience with customer service. All the staff that I have met were very friendly and helpful. They always check on the customers' experience during and after the meal. => 10/10 2. Food: This restaurant is my go-to spot for steak and truffle pizza. The pizza is the best! There is no other place that I've been to have better pizza than Cucina. The steak is juicy and tender. I 100% recommend their steak and pizza. 3. Price: The price went up a few weeks ago, which makes the food quite pricey. However, to me, it's all worth it. I don't understand the bad ratings that this place received. Some say the portion is too small, but I think the portion is not small at all. And for the price, if people agree to pay what they have published on their menu, I don't think it's right to give them bad rating for being "too expensive". If you think it's "too expensive", then just don't order.

We celebrated my sister’s birthday at Di Francesco, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! We started with the Pinsa Romana and chips as sides, paired with wine and sparkling water. The flavors were fresh, and everything was presented beautifully. For mains, we ordered the Kids Spaghetti Napoli, Pappardelle Ragu D’agnello, Agnolotti Burro & Salvia, and Rustichella. Every dish was cooked to perfection, with rich flavors and generous portions that left us more than satisfied. The desserts were the highlight of the celebration! The Hazelnut Chocolate Cake and Limoncello Tiramisu were divine—sweet, indulgent, and a perfect way to end the meal. The staff and manager were exceptional, frequently checking on us to ensure we had everything we needed. Their warm hospitality made the evening even more special. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate or simply enjoy an incredible meal, Di Francesco is the perfect choice. Highly, highly recommend!

I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but on this occasion I am writing to express my concerns regarding a recent dining experience at your restaurant on Saturday. My family and I had a reservation for a table accommodating four adults and five toddlers. Unfortunately, we encountered several issues that left us dissatisfied with the visit.

Firstly, I would like to mention that the initial greeting we received was not as welcoming as we had anticipated. As regular patrons of your restaurant, we have always enjoyed our experiences until this particular visit, and we were hoping for the same positive atmosphere we have come to expect.

Additionally, I faced considerable difficulties concerning the accessibility of the ramp for our prams. I was taken aback when your male manager insisted that we use the stairs instead. This was quite inconvenient, especially given that we had toddlers with us and needed to ensure their safety and comfort.

When it came time to place our order, the set menu clearly stated that a minimum of four adults at the table needed to participate. However, the manager insisted that the toddlers also be included in this arrangement. This demand was problematic since the toddlers, understandably, cannot consume the set menu, which further added to our frustration.

The situation escalated when I attempted to use my dining vouchers, which I receive as a platinum member of your restaurant. To my surprise, the manager exhibited a lack of professionalism, displaying visible annoyance, slamming the cash register, and walking away from me mid-conversation. To make matters worse, he also called security to surround me and suggested that I finalize my payment outside of the restaurant, which I found to be very inappropriate.

Fortunately, security verified with the mahogany management that the vouchers were indeed valid and should be accepted, which ultimately resolved the payment issue. However, I left feeling disappointed not just by the incident itself, but more so by the manner in which I was treated by your manager.

I believe it would be beneficial for your staff to receive additional training on your policies and on providing excellent customer service. I genuinely hope that my feedback can contribute to improvements so that future guests do not have similar experiences, as I would love to continue visiting your establishment in the future under much more favorable circumstances.

Thank you for taking the time to consider...

Our recent visit to Di Francesco Cucina was unfortunately very disappointing. While we were looking forward to a nice family meal, the service and overall experience fell well short of expectations. Here’s a summary of the key issues: Service Problems: • One of our orders was completely missed. • Appetisers and main meals were brought out at the same time, which disrupted the flow of the meal. • Meals were not served together—some of us received our food while others were left waiting, including the kids, whose meals arrived much later. Tea Service: • When we ordered tea, the pots were only half-filled, which seemed careless and unprofessional. Billing Confusion: • We were two families and had requested separate bills, but the staff combined everything into one, causing unnecessary inconvenience. Parking Voucher: • Despite dining in, we were not given a parking voucher, which added to the frustration.

The food itself was very ordinary and certainly didn’t make up for the poor service. It felt like every part of the experience was mishandled. For a restaurant located in Crown, we expected much better.

We hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve their service for...

From the moment I stepped into Di Francesco cucina, I knew I was in for something special. The ambiance is nothing short of exquisite — elegant lighting, tastefully arranged decor, and a soft hum of conversation that sets the perfect tone for a refined evening.

But what truly elevates this place beyond its already stunning presentation is the impeccable service. Every member of the staff, from the hosts to the servers, exudes warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. They were attentive without being intrusive, knowledgeable about the menu, and eager to accommodate any requests — all with a sincere smile that made the experience feel personal.

The food itself was a masterpiece. Each course was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor, showcasing creativity and top-tier ingredients. Whether it was a delicately seared scallop appetizer or the melt-in-your-mouth filet mignon, every bite was unforgettable.

This restaurant doesn’t just serve food — it offers an experience. With such an inviting atmosphere and outstanding service, I left not only impressed but already planning my next visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable evening of fine dining and gracious...
