Saw this on Instagram and decided to try it out. The lunchtime total, including Tom Yum soup base came out to $37.74, so a pretty good deal considering the amount we normally spend per person at hotpot places. I went around 2:30 on a weekday, so it was not busy. The food was refilled frequently, and the variety was impressive. I love the little fortune bags with roe, and the cuttlefish dumplings were really tasty. The beef was tender, and the Tom Yum soup base was just enough spice and tang to flavor the food without needing to add additional dipping sauce. I really enjoyed the ability to take a piece or 2 from items I’ve never tried, without needing to order an entire portion. Quail eggs, fish noodles, several types of tofu and a few vegetables I’ve never even heard of before. The soda cans are sitting at the center of the conveyer belt, so are not refrigerated, but they bring you a cup of ice and it was completely fine.
The only small downside is that the noodles all seem to be instant style, and nothing hand tossed or super fresh tasting, but it didn’t bother me much as I was too full of everything to worry about noodles.
The staff all seemed very friendly and happy to be there, so it made for an enjoyable dining experience for...
Read moreI had a delightful dining experience at the Devine Hot Pot Train Buffet. The culinary offerings were impressive, with a diverse selection of soups available. Although it's uncommon to pay separately for soup at a buffet, I found the costs to be quite fair. My selection of the Tom Yum soup and my wife's choice of the Chicken soup did not disappoint; both were superb. The range of seafood and meats was extensive, featuring delicacies like baby octopus, prawns, basa fish, cuttlefish dumplings, mussels, lobster balls, fish balls, crab nuggets, crab sticks, lamb, beef, and more. The staff's hospitality was noteworthy; they were exceptionally courteous and attentive, ensuring our soups were continuously replenished. The Oolong milk tea was a refreshing beverage, and the dessert selection, including ice cream, brownies, jelly, and rockmelon, was a delightful conclusion to the meal. Despite the restaurant's modest appearance, it comfortably accommodated my larger stature. In my opinion, this establishment offers excellent value and comes highly...
Read moreMyself and my partner have been to many hotpot places over the past couple of months and this one is by far THE BEST. It has also been the cheapest over all as other hotpot places charge you for every plate of food easily adding up to over $160 for two people however we went here for lunch and it was only $70, as well as you receiving a free drink. Yes, the food takes some time to come around however it gives you plenty of time to grab what you would like, without feeling too rushed. The staff workers/cooks are constantly topping up the food and soup so you can ensure you’ll get your moneys worth. Staff members were extremely friendly and you could tell they enjoy being at work. It’s a bit of a drive for me to get there but I will definitely be coming back in the near future as it is definitely worth the travel. I myself do not use a wheelchair however I did notice a doorbell at the door that you could push for...
