Divine Indian Niddrie — Restaurant in Melbourne

My experience at Divine Indian was nothing short of disappointing. The food was of subpar quality, with my palak paneer being plain, tasteless and poorly cooked. Despite requesting for it to be made spicy, it lacked any real flavor. The staff's attitude was unhelpful, not addressing my complaint and merely providing salt as a solution. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning. Extremely disappointed with the poor food quality and service.

If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine, I would advise you to steer clear of Divine Indian. Not particularly happy with my meal, I ordered from my accommodation and ordered via uber eats, driver picked up another order first but still had to wait for this order to be complete. Waited over 1 hr for it to be delivered to find out my drink and utensils were missing, luckily I was in a unit that had some utensils , garlic nan wasn't even garlic and was flat and taste less, chicken vidaloo was mild to medium at best when I was after something hot, my highlight was the milkshake I got from the first order, not too impressed as this meal wasn't cheap.

On a different note perhaps adding a smaller portion size too, maybe an option of half and half, (half rice half curry) as it's far too much for one person ordering 1 curry and 1 rice with nan and I'm not exactly a...

Have been coming here for years but sadly will not be returning. We ordered Onion Baji for starters which was very nice, sadly the main courses were far below par. The Lamb Bhuna Gosht was virtually inedible. The sauce was ok (though its listed as medium hot and it had zero heat, like literally zero!), the meat was very tough and every bit of meat had a large fat deposit on it. Partner had the Chicken Tikka Butter Masala which was bland, even the Naan wasn't up to par as it was doughy and really not pleasant. We voiced our concerns to our very nice waitress who then passed it onto the owner/operator who didn't seem to really care and never even spoke with us.
