I just ordered on uber eats “fried dumplings” and my gf ordered the sweet and sour pork… The dumpling are literally not crunchy or look fried whatsoever, I also asked for chilli oil and I just got some soy sauce for like sushi style, The taste it’s quite blend and not fresh at all… the photos on the menu looked nice but what I got doesn’t look anything like it. Wouldn’t order again.

The food here is amazing and reasonably priced! Decent portions too. Ordered the pork dumplings, stir fried string beans and salt/pepper calamari which were all amazing. The interior is airy and nicely decorated. The only criticism is the service is barely passable, the waitress has zero enthusiasm and customer service skills. The owner must feel obligated to retain her.

This guy is always abrupt on the phone or in person, and was again this evening. However, tonight needed mentioning because the main course, Sichuan chicken, was dried up and thrown into a broken tub with masses of dried up old chilis. The Singapore noodles, were luke warm. No care was taken over the preparation of this meal. It's getting worse.

Dumpling Village was okay. We wanted dumplings, we got dumplings. They were a little more expensive than I expected, and there weren't as many dumpling options as I thought there would be from a dumpling titled restaurant.

We ordered the house-made pan-fried pork dumplings and the steamed vegetable dumplings in Szechuan oil. Both were okay. I can't say what they are missing, but I felt "meh" about them. I don't think that's a reaction I've ever had...

Dumpling Village completely exceeded our expectations! We had the chicken wontons, and they were absolutely amazing — tender, flavorful, and served in a perfectly balanced sauce that we couldn’t get enough of. You can really taste the freshness in every bite.
